Exes and Oohs is the third episode of Helluva Boss' second season and the tenth overall. It debuted on Vivziepop's YouTube channel on March 11, 2023. The fourth episode of the second season is Western Energy.

Plot

In the Exes and Oohs description, it reads "Moxxie visits his childhood home and things sure do happen."

Why It Rocks

  1. This gives us more information about Moxxie's backstory. This makes Blitzo and Moxxie have backstories, while Loona and Millie do not. There will possibly be a backstory episode for two of them, though.
  2. New and well-written characters in this episode.
    • Crimson, who is Moxxie's father, is the main antagonist in this episode. While he is an abusive dad towards Moxxie and a ruthless crime boss whom the fandom loves to hate, you have to admit that he makes as an amazing antagonist for this episode.
    • While Chaz is not as good as Crimson, he still can be funny at times.
    • Moxxie's mother, despite being killed off quickly, was shown to be a good mother to Moxxie.
  3. Moxxie's backstory is heartbreaking and evokes strong emotions. People watching this episode will certainly be shocked to learn that Crimson killed Moxxie's mother.
  4. The animation is well done as always, especially when Millie killed Crimson's mafia.
  5. Speaking of which, the music that played during Millie's fight scene fit very well and was very catchy.
  6. Funny jokes once in a while.
  7. Moxxie gets his happy ending here, which is especially satisfying given Crimson's abusive fatherhood.

Bad Qualities

  1. It's a Moxxie torture episode, even though it's done correctly here and Moxxie getting a good ending.
  2. People may find Chaz to be uncomfortable.
    • When he was being sexual towards Moxxie in his room, it was a very uncomfortable scene.
    • His overuse of d**k jokes gets annoying and unbearable most of the time.
  3. They still didn't develop Millie, despite it being already season two. We would also like to mention we never got to see Millie and Chaz's backstory.
  4. Crimson is a terrible father when he abuses his son Moxxie.
