Why It's A Colossal Game Over

Warning!
As mentioned before, these qualities are based on first impressions as the game has not been released yet. Also, since this game has been classified as a scam, any good/redeeming qualities are forbidden from this page. Anyone who adds good/redeeming qualities will have their edit reverted instantly and will have to be dealt with.
  1. To kick things off, the developers stole the trademark from the original developer. As pointed out before, this is only based on first impressions.
  2. This game is said to include NFTs as an aspect of gameplay, which are very harmful to the environment, because the problem with that is that they could damage the Ozone layer (Luckily the ozone layer is on a track of recovery, but still).
  3. Extremely poor grasp of the source material: Yes, the game is very unfaithful to the original because it damaged the original reputation of Flappy Bird.
  4. It poorly executed the idea of remaking Flappy Bird, which is such a shame because the idea of remaking Flappy Bird seemed really well on paper until this remake was unveiled.
  5. Whilst it's good to see the remake be open source, there could be a chance there will be offensive media in the game, what if someone replaced the pipes with the Twin Towers and Flappy Bird with a plane? This would be extremely disrespectful to the victims of the 9/11 attacks and their families. Even SuperTuxKart, another open source game which allows development by the community made earlier than the remake, executed the idea of open source games really well.
  6. It even managed to destroy the entire reputation of Dong Nguyen’s trademark for the original game due to the trademark being stolen.
  7. The game will possibly include crypto scams, as it will be shared through Telegram, imagine the amount of people who would fall for this scam?
  8. Even Dong Nguyen, the creator of the original Flappy Bird, doesn't classify this as a "remake" due to it being a scam.
  9. Overall, this game is going to be an extremely colossal middle finger to people who played the original Flappy Bird, who were excited for the game to come back, until it was denounced as a scam.

Reception

Its announcement garnered positive reviews at first, with many being excited to play the remake to relieve nostalgia, until it was classified as a scam. The review later received overwhelming negative reviews after it was denounced as a scam.
