JBVO: Your All Request Cartoon Show, or simply JBVO), is a spin-off of Johnny Bravo, that ran for one season, from February 9, 2000, to August 26, 2001, on Sundays. It was a programming block hosted by Johnny, who would take in viewer requests, on which cartoons to air, and sometimes alongside some infrequent Cartoon Network guests like Chicken, from Cow & Chicken. They would be requested, through write-ins to the show, or through the Cartoon Network website, and it could be any cartoon from Cartoon Network's library, with the exception of half-hour shows. There was one episode, where a caller by the name of, "Jennifer", requested an episode of Dragon Ball Z, and it was played at twice the speed through, with Johnny only giving expositional commentary, to which he later apologized for.

Like The Moxy Show, it was another one of Cartoon Network's attempts at a hosted cartoon show, and was close to having a, "live", cartoon character, and it also ironically premiered, shortly after The Moxy Show had ended, in fact, the day after reruns of said show's episodes ended, and like The Moxy Show, it was arguably unsuccessful, lasting a single season in episodes for a year, before cancellation. It's also received little, in the way of resurfacing; nothing of it has been seen since on the airwaves. Very little else of it exists online, besides a few episodes, segments, and promos.

Why It's Pretty

  1. Callers can talk to Johnny Bravo.
  2. Great voice acting.
  3. Hundreds of memorable quotes, mostly notable by Johnny Bravo himself.
    • Other quotes are also memorable such as: "Coming up, we will tell you how to make a request, so stick around!"
  4. Memorable soundtrack, especially the theme song.
  5. The most famous episode where Johnny Bravo got a letter from Jennifer from Poland Springs Maine, she requested for Dragon Ball Z, then Johnny Bravo had to call Jennifer, and explained that he cannot air Dragon Ball Z. The issue is Johnny Bravo's show is half an hour, and Dragon Ball Z is also half an hour too. However, Johnny Bravo puts on a fast forward short clip of that certain episode of Dragon Ball Z.
  6. Just like the main series, the animation is great, thanks to Rough Draft Studios.

The Only Not Pretty Quality

  1. The show ended way too fast, having only one season and 28 episodes.

Trivia

  • Johnny Bravo's design has a big resemblance to 3D Realms's Duke Nukem. Both characters wearing sunglasses and both of them have memorable quotes.
  • Johnny Bravo is based on and similar to Elvis Presley.
