To think Boo Boo Runs Wild and A Day in the Life of Ranger Smith didn't do enough damage... This is one of the reasons why certain people thought Cartoon Network was going downhill in 2001.

Web Premiere Toons were interactive cartoons created by Cartoon Network and viewable online at cartoonnetwork.com. These cartoons were interactive, meaning they were controlled by the user. Web Premiere Toons were created in 1999 and "Pink Donkey and the Fly" was the first to premiere.

Initially, World Premiere Toons consisted of original shorts. However, they soon expanded to include interactive movies and shorts that featured classic cartoon characters such as Bugs Bunny and Fred Flintstone as well as Cartoon Cartoon characters like Dexter and the Powerpuff Girls.

What surprised people is that three of them were Hanna-Barbera cartoon reimaginings done by John Kricfalusi. When watching his cartoons, you'll be left with sheer disappointment after watching. Just when his two Yogi Bear cartoons Boo Boo Runs Wild and A Day in the Life of Ranger Smith weren't enough, now we have these.

Bad Qualities

1. Putting John Kricfalusi in charge of these was one of the biggest mistakes Cartoon Network has ever done, showing that he has not once learned from his two Yogi Bear cartoons. Parodying Hanna-Barbera cartoons is fine, but this is not how you do it. Cartoon Network was completely unaware that John Kricfalusi was already a horrible person to work with, and this was before his sexual misconduct was exposed to the public in 2018. This is why certain people (not all) felt Cartoon Network's decline began in 2001.
2. Not only has he completely butchered Yogi Bear yet again, but he's also butchered The Jetsons, and these shorts include the extensive use of out-of-place gross-out humor and atrocious flanderization of the shows' respective characters.
   • "The Best Son", a Jetsons cartoon, is about how Elroy Jetson started acting even more like Bart Simpson (only not as likable), and George and Jane decided to neglect him by having a robot son.
   • "Father and Son Day", another Jetsons cartoon, is about Elroy spending time with George, but things get worse when showing us shaven body parts at the end, including Astro's butt!
   • "Boo Boo and the Man", yet another Yogi Bear cartoon, is about Boo Boo getting bullied by the big boys.
3. Their animations are all of mediocre quality, even for the internet. It can also look disturbing at times.
4. The writing is atrocious.
5. They don't even stay true to the source material.
6. Ranger Smith changes styles constantly, and it gets very irritating.
7. Yogi only appeared at the end of "Boo Boo and the Man".
8. Much like the death of William Hanna, these shorts practically killed off Hanna-Barbera as an animation studio.

Good Qualities

1. It is nice to see the old Hanna-Barbera characters again.
2. The backgrounds do look nice.
3. The music sounds good.
4. Ranger Smith's constant design changing was likely poking fun at the fact of how he keeps changing designs throughout the original Yogi Bear cartoons.
5. The voice acting can be decent.
6. "Boo Boo and the Man" has better animation than the two Jetsons shorts John made.
