Junelope is a American animated romantic comedy drama series created by Awesome Entertainment. It is based on the fanfic of the same name and the characters from the YouTube puppet series, SML.

Summary

A re-imagining of Junior and Penelope's relationship in SML, basically showing their love story and struggles.

Why It Rocks

1. Being based on the videos by SML, it manages to be faithful to its source material.
2. This series made Junior and Penelope's relationship as a cute healthy couples like Pucca and Garu. Though in all fairness, Daniel Ozdoba hates Junior and Penelope arguing each other because Logan Thirtyacre made them was based on He and his girlfriend/wife Chilly Jimenez are break up for cheating back in 2020.
3. The unlikable and flanderized characters have been redeemed such as:
   • Junior (despite being only likable in original SML from season 5 to mid-season 11)
   • Penelope
   • Joseph
   • Jeffy
   • Brooklyn Guy (despite being only likable in original SML from season 3 to early-season 14)
   • Karen (even before she appeared in new episode)
4. The animation was very good and better than Nicktendo.
5. Most of the characters are very likable such as, Cody and Jackie Chu.
6. The characters are very nice. Especially Junior and Penelope.
7. The voice acting is quite good like, Michael Monetti, Cristina Amendola and Addis Chandler (the co-director of the series).
8. Some funny moments like, Joseph decide to flip Cody's desk (unlike in the original SML).
9. Just like Pucca, The antics between Junior and Penelope love each other is a joy to watch.

Bad Qualities

1. Like in the original SML, The characters seldom learn about their mistakes:
   • Brooklyn Guy's character design by Addis Chandler, is a huge mistake because he has no legs like in the original SML and this is not the same as Nicktendo.
   • Bully Bill gets angry at Junior thinking because he taking Penelope as his girlfriend, in the original SML, Bully keeps to bullying Penelope by popping her balloon.
2. Bully Bill is a unlikable character in this series, as he can get angry at Junior by having Penelope as his girlfriend.
3. The original voice actors from SML never reprised their roles in this series.

• The villains from SML are now appeared in the second season of this series.
