Open a beach club at your house instead, Jack. Also, High-Rise Nightmare is better than your one.

"Life's a Beach" is the fourteenth episode of season 2 of Oggy and the Cockroaches, and was remade as the fifteenth episode for season 7 under the title "Oggy's Beach Club."
Plot
Due to a bizarre meteorological phenomenon, the sun shines on Oggy's house but every where else, it's raining cats and dogs! Jack decides to take advantage of the situation and turn the house into a Club Med...
Why It's a Burning HOT Beach
- Jack, unlike most other episodes, is extremely unlikable here as he tortures Oggy unfairly. Details will be explained below.
- The remake's title, "Oggy's Beach Club," is misleading, as it is Jack who hosts it, and not Oggy.
- The logic does not even make any sense as how did Oggy not get in the rain BUT THE OTHERS DID NOT?!
- Also, Oggy is treated as a jerk/punching bag in this episode, details will be explained below.
- The humans are really unlikable, with that girl and man from "The Carnival's in Town" being the rudest ones as the girl is really mean to Oggy all because Oggy was asking nicely for his seat. That is even worse than she was in "The Carnival's in Town."
- The title card for the original version is misleading, which would lead to many people thinking that Jack would be rich but no, it is just Jack opening a beach club to torture Oggy. The remake's title card is an improvement.
- Oggy is a little bit unlikable as he ripped her ticket as well as popping the kid's ball.
- Also, why did those people have to beat poor Oggy up?! We don't do that in the real world despite people beating Oggy up in other good episodes of this show but not this one.
- Bob is unlikable as well as he beat Oggy's eye up all because of a photo.
- The people also ruined Oggy's time to watch TV without his permission.
- Jack won't even let Oggy have fun as an example, he won't even let Oggy have a drink despite being his fridge. He had no right to do such thing as that wasn't his house.
- Overall, this is one of the worst episodes of the first two seasons (although not as bad as "7 Minutes & Counting" but still)
Redeeming Qualities That Are Safe to Relax On
- Oggy (most of the part), Joey, Marky, and Dee Dee are the only likable characters.
- As mentioned in WIABHB #6, the title card of the remake is an improvement over the original title card.
- Some funny moments, such as when the cockroaches raid the beach club and when the beach club gives jack karma by beating him up, despite most of the humor being off.
- It does teach a good moral about standing up for yourself.
- Good ending: Jack gets comeuppances as he gets beaten up by everyone and runs away as he gets struck by lightning.
- The soundtrack is still good.
- The concept on Jack opening a beach club on Oggy's property is a decent concept, but it was terribly executed.
- Its rehashes/clones/rip-offs, "Oggy Splits Hairs," "Grease-Monkey Oggy," and "High-Rise Nightmare," are huge improvements over this episode as the torture is toned down.
Trivia
- There's an episode of The Tom and Jerry Show (2014) that has the same title.
- This episode's title might be a pun on the saying "Life's a B***h". This may be another reason why it was renamed Oggy's Beach Club.
