Plot

After Wade cannot live with his stepmother since she kicked him out of her basement, he tells Kick that he has to stay in his house to live better. However, Kick becomes in big trouble when Wade's antics cost his stunts.

Why It Does Not Live With Wade

  1. Misleading Title Card: Wade is seen holding a bindle shaped like Kick, even though the bindle is not seen nor held by Wade in this episode.
  2. The entire episode is mean-spirited to Kick as he gets misfortuned by Wade due to the latter's antics.
  3. Wade is horribly out-of-character to the point that his antics cost Kick's actions.
  4. When Wade plays the drums in the morning after Kick wakes up, the latter assumes that if the former plays it, his parents would kick him out. But he changes his mind after the fantasy. This shows how he is completely oblivious to the point that cannot take it seriously with his friend as his parents arrive and they are praising Wade's entertainment.
  5. Wade's antics in the third act is mean-spirited to watch:
    • While Kick is doing stunts using a scooter, Wade steals the nuts in Kick's scooter because he is fixing Honey's blender.
    • He removes the brakes from Kick's bicycle to make Harold's car brakes working.
    • He cuts the wood from the ramp in Kick's hideout spot just to make it a picnic table.
    • He believes that the thread from Kick's jumpsuit is a floss, causing his jumpsuit to get destroyed.
    • After Kick kicks Wade out for his antics, his parents, Brad, and Brianna scold Kick for being rude to Wade, causing himself to leave.
  6. Papercut Peterson is pointless and he only shouts about laundry, though his lines are hilarious.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Kick, Gunther, and his parents are likable in this episode.
  2. The opening scene is good, until this episode kicks in with Wade playing the drums loudly.
  3. Kick calling out Wade for his antics is satisfying to watch. However, he felt sorry for what he has done by searching for his chili beans can.
  4. Good Ending: Wade tells Kick and Hunther that he will be living in Rowdy's toolshed, which is huge. This leads to Kick and Gunther transferring Wade's stuff into Rowdy's toolshed.
  5. Papercut Peterson had a few hilarious lines, especially this "I love underwear season!"
    • The Slacker Z post-ending scene is funny.
