Sypnosis

Brian falls for a girl with cancer

Why This Episode Needs A Divorce

  1. First, the concept of Brian dating Jess is weird and kinda confusing too.
  2. As usual, pointless cutaway gags.
    • Although, the Peanuts Movie cutaway gag is creative that does not help at all.
    • Another example is that there's always a cutaway gag when the show starts. Proving that the creators of the show can't come up with creative cutaway gags (except for the Peanuts movie gag which is genuinely funny)
  3. Stiff animation with many hiccups and errors.
  4. The voice acting, while decent is boring and stale.
  5. While it's nice seeing new characters on Family Guy, Jess however is somewhat of a Mary sue, despite her being likeable for the most part.

Redeeming Qualites

  1. We actually get to have a two-parter, which is a bit of a breather.
  2. At least they managed to properly tackle cancer.
  3. Decent voice acting.
  4. The second part ending, while not needed is somewhat funny.
