Mas y Menos is the 48th episode of the 1st season of Teen Titans Go!.
Synopsis
Más and Menos visit the Titans Tower to get superhero lessons from Robin. These Spanish-speaking twin brothers become fast friends with the other Titans, but Robin just wants to focus on training instead.
Bad Qualities
- Firstly, this is episode is just Robin abusing children for 11 minutes straight. (Mas and Menos are literally children).
- Robin is also horribly unlikable in this episode, not only does he abuse Mas and Menos, he also calls the other Titans "terrible role models".
- Robin is also shown to have a strong hatred towards Menos for no reason, he tells him to pay attention even though he clearly is paying attention, he calls him a troublemaker a few times, and he also abandons Menos and tells Mas that his brother is in the hospital. To make matters worse, it's never explained why Robin hates Menos so much, he did NOTHING TO HIM TO DESERVE THIS MUCH HATRED.
- Robin also keeps the twins from hanging out with the other Titans because he believes they are bad influences, which is not true.
- Show again badly dubs over clips of the original series, but this time, they were used for the YouTube videos Cyborg was watching.
- Bad ending/moral: The Titans stop a rampaging Mas and Menos, Robin gets injured in the process and says the lesson was showboating, not learning from childhood.
Good Qualities
- The title is in Spanish which is not only fitting because Mas and Menos only speak Spanish but it also promotes diversity.
- This episode reveals that Beast Boy can speak Spanish, rendering all the episodes where he’s portrayed as an idiot useless because if he can learn a second language despite being unlikable in the series, he has a shred of intelligence.
- The Titans bonding with Mas and Menos is very sweet.
- The Titans even call out Robin for hating Menos for no reason whatsoever.
