Michael Jackson Was My Lover: The Secret Diary of Jordie Chandler (sometimes shortened to just Michael Jackson Was My Lover) is a 1997 pro-pedophilia "romance" fantasy novel. It is a fictionalized account of the 1993 allegations of child molestation against the late Michael Jackson.
Why It's No One's Lover
- Similar to Leaving Neverland, it was made with the sole purpose of promoting pedophilia and ruining Michael Jackson's reputation.
- Gutierrez uses the book to try and portray child molestation as a loving, consensual thing.
- In fact, Gutierrez himself was an actual member of NAMBLA, a pro-pedophilia organization.
- This book also got critical details about the allegations wrong.
- The book says that Jackson inserted his finger into Jordan's anus, despite a doctor who examined Jordan stating no anal contact of any kind took place.
- The book also says that Jackson and Jordan had a mock wedding.
- This book was used as a basis for many of James Safechuck's allegations in the 2019 "documentary" Leaving Neverland.
- Gutierrez even writes an apology letter to all pedophiles.
- Gutierrez also claims Jackson abused his animals in his Neverland zoo, which is false.
- The book itself is just a bunch of lies.
- The 1st edition cover is lazily made and claims that Jordan Chandler sued Michael Jackson when it was his father, Evan Chandler.
- The title is a lie as Jordan did not own a diary.
Trivia
- Jackson sued Gutierrez for defamation and libel and ended up winning the case. Gutierrez was ordered to pay $2.7 million to Jackson.
