A second season for the show released on January 22, 2024.

So You See, This Is Why This Show Is Mischievous

Overall

  1. Once again, this show flanderizes Mikey to become more unlikable than before, in which the first bad thing he done was robbing a bank by pretending to be his dad to get a Vision Pro. Worse still, despite Mikey helping the police to catch the real thief in "Mischief Mikey: 13-Year-Old Robs Church For Vision Pro - Ep. 2" in the end, he comes off as a hypocrite as he also tries to steal money from the church in the same episode.
    • Not only that, but Mikey's mother, Kathy Miller also got flanderized to be even more unlikable to Mikey, in which in the very first episode she flat out admits she is a hypocrite as she lies to Mikey. Not only that she even allowed Mikey to rob the bank, and later punished him for doing it.
      • Season 2 would later flanderize her further where in the first ever episode, she falsely accused Mikey of being the murderer, faked the whole attempted murder situation, and told Mikey to fight Jay in a boxing match, resulting in Mikey having a bloody nose and a black eye, while Jay has a bruise on his face, just for pranking them. In fact her "prank" is considered to be her worst idea ever, as it would dramatize her youngest son Jayden, and even Mikey if she were to actually die.
  2. As usual with Dhar Mann's videos, they suffer from poor editing and cinematography.
    • As shown in the third episode, the iPad's screen is poorly edited and Mikey's fingers aren't on the controls, and you can clearly see in the beginning that Mikey is actually watching a green screen since you can see some green coming from the screen on his hair.
  3. Poor acting from most of the actors, many of them are wooden and are barely emotive such as Mikey's mother.
    • Additionally due to the poor acting, most of the dialogue makes no sense such as that one scene in Episode 2 where Mikey's mother says "Michael Miller, I am so angry with you!" in which her facial expression says otherwise which she has a shocked sad expression instead.
  4. The advertising poster looks poor as it's just Mikey's face with a blue background and the title slapped on it.
  5. Much like the previous Dhar Mann videos that introduce things that are clearly not released yet, such as the PlayStation 6, The iPhone 15 (Which would later be released). This series heavily focuses on the Apple Vision Pro in which doesn't even exist yet, likely to clickbait his audience for views.
  6. Many characters do not get any comeuppance for doing bad things to Mikey, making them Karma Houdinis.
    • Kathy Miller doesn't get comeuppance for telling the police to lock up her son Mikey in the adult prison and staging everything.
  7. Sadly, this will likely be the breaking point for Mikey to be a good person considering he got flanderized even more.

Season 1

  1. Bad First Impression: Not even in the first episode, Mikey already does a very bad thing in which he robbed a bank by pretending to be his dad. Not only that, they also sent him to the wrong prison in which they put Mikey in the same cell with an adult prisoner, in which Mikey screams at the end when the prisoner walks towards him which ends off in a cliffhanger suggesting that either Mikey, a 13-year-old kid, got brutally beaten up, or even worse, RAPED while in jail.
  2. Plot Holes as usual, due to terrible writing.
    1. Episode 1
      • How is Kathy Miller friends with two police officers? Kathy is shown to do crimes herself in previous videos, such as robbing Noah's store and doing malpractice at the hospital.
      • Why is Mikey locked up in the adult prison? Shouldn't he be in Juvenile Hall since he is a minor?
        • Not to mention that Mikey was previously put in Juvie in a previous video where he pulled the school's fire alarm.
      • Also Kathy Miller orders the Vision Pro right before Mikey got caught, in which she gives it to Jayden after Mikey got arrested.
    2. Episode 2
      • How does Pastor McDaniels know Mikey's previous wrongdoings? He was not a character in the previous Mikey videos.
      • When Pastor McDaniels gets arrested for robbery, how did he change clothes? He was clearly tripped over and arrested by the police.
    3. Episode 3
      • How is Mikey playing Roblox on the plane on his iPad? Doesn't Roblox require online connection?
      • Someone on the flight, especially Kathy, would have certainly heard Mikey and Jayden's conversations.
      • How was Mikey able to light the sparkler on the plane?
      • The flight should have been delayed after the sparkler was extinguished.
      • Why does the flight depart after Mikey's note is found, especially after a sparkler was lit and with a note from an anonymous author?
      • Why is Mikey suddenly caring about his mom when she gets arrested, didn't she abuse Mikey in various videos?
        • Also, Mikey says that his mom is not a criminal, yet she committed malpractice and child abuse. Did Mikey suddenly forget the bad things she did to him?
      • How did Jay get arrested? He didn't even make a single appearance in the series until episode 3, did someone arrest him off-screen?
        • Also, according to Jay, the reason why he was arrested is because his mom "got tired of him," meaning the police force is corrupt in the Dhar Mann World since they arrest people for any reason they want to.
    4. Episode 4
      • How did Mikey suddenly forget to be a good person? He previously studied for a test in one video, so why did Dhar decide to make him a dumb character?
      • How did Jay manage to get $20 from his mom, when she falsely got him arrested in the previous episode?
    5. The Apple Vision Pro doesn't even exist yet, as it was just announced, and will release in 2024.
  3. Much like Jay & Mikey, each episode ends off with a spoiler for the next episode, which can ruin the impact for the viewers having to wait the next week for the next episode.
    • Episode 4 was already spoiled in the YouTube short that announced the series.[1]
  4. Episode 2 lacks continuity as in the first episode, Mikey was seen in jail with an adult approaching him at the end of the first episode, but in the beginning of the Episode 2 he's seen in church, how did he get out?
  5. The final episode of the series will be a prison episode, meaning Mikey and Jay would end up being punching bags.
  6. Episode 4 is filled with so much fourth wall breaks, in which one of them tells the viewers that a new show Noah's Arc is in development, and Mikey saying he will have a second season of his show.
  7. Terrible Ending: As usual with Dhar Mann's series, they always end on cliffhangers due to being completely rushed. Episode 4 ends off with Mikey with having a new cell mate, and it just ends off there.
    • Despite this however, Jay and Mikey would later end up out of there in the next show "Noah's Arch" in which they are back on the streets.
    • Additionally it was announced on Dhar Mann's channel banner that a second season will be in-development and it's first episode for it will release on January 22, 2024.

Season 2

  1. Dhar Mann admitted that this season will be based off trends, meaning this season will not be original.
  2. In fact, this whole season is just a blatant advertisement for his newest channel called "Dhar Mann IRL"
  3. For some reason Mikey's younger brother Jayden doesn't appear in this season, despite him appearing in the previous season.
  4. There are still plot holes.
    1. Episode 1
      • Why do the cops allow the children to operate a car while underaged?
      • Jay and Mikey cannot get a job since they are still underaged, and also YouTube won't pay the bills as they would have to obey their community guidelines and rules, and due to the fact YouTube pays in cents.
    2. Episode 3
      • How did Mikey know his mother's credit card number?
      • How did Mikey, Jay, and Noah obtain these banned items in the first place, and how did Amazon allow this to happen?
      • A remote control alligator toy wouldn't come to life and become eight-foot, in fact most of the people are faking their injuries on purpose.
  5. Lack Of Research: Mikey's mother said that she made them a YouTube channel to make money, yet Jay and Mikey's subscriber count is only at 135 subscribers which is barely enough for the YouTube Partner program, and they cannot make money off YouTube without being in that program.
  6. Additionally Episode 3 is filled with errors.
    1. The remote control alligator toy, is actually a inflatable alligator that is by Jet Creations.
  7. Also Episode 3 is filled to the brim of dumb parents, one of them not knowing what snow is made out of.
  8. Noah continuing to say "I love money" over and over again in episode 3 gets very annoying fast.
    • Mikey would break the fourth wall to acknowledge this.
  9. Despite Dhar planning on giving this season 4 episodes, due to the poor reception from fans, the 4th episode was canceled and the show was left abandoned on a cliffhanger.
    • In fact, after the show was canceled Mikey, Jay, and Noah wouldn't make an official appearance in a actual video ever again. Now they only appear in Dhar's YouTube Shorts.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Mikey's actor Kaido Lee Roberts still does a great job with his role and is much more expressive than the show's other actors. Katherine Norland can also be decent in some scenes like the scene where Mikey is caught at the church apparently “stealing the money” in "Mischief Mikey: 13-Year-Old Robs Church For Vision Pro - Ep. 2", and you can easily see that she was actually sad and really crying.
  2. In some scenes, Mikey can be sympathetic at times like the adult prison scene in "Mischief Mikey: 13-Year-Old Robs Bank For Vision Pro - Ep. 1" and helping the police catch the real thief at the church in "Mischief Mikey: 13-Year-Old Robs Church For Vision Pro - Ep. 2" (despite being a hypocrite).
  3. Kathy Miller is at least somewhat tolerable in "Mischief Mikey: 13-Year-Old Robs Church For Vision Pro - Ep. 2", but not much.
