PAW Patrol World is a console puzzle-platform game based on the children's television series PAW Patrol, released on September 27, 2023 on Nintendo Switch and on September 29, 2023 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.

Why It's Not A World

1. The graphics are poor, especially for a 2023 game. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Super Bomberman R2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, came out in 2023 and look much better than this game, despite being accurate to the show; in fact, they look more like a 2010 Xbox 360 game than a game released in 2023.
2. The gameplay is quite boring, even more boring than PAW Patrol: On a Roll or even PAW Patrol: Grand Prix. It also has no replay value or any challenge whatsoever like those two games.
3. Speaking of challenge, there isn't any due to the fact that there isn't even any enemies and even the cars can't hurt you.
4. While it's longer than both PAW Patrol: On a Roll and PAW Patrol: Grand Prix, the game is still quite short and can be beaten in only 5 hours, which is unacceptable for a game released in 2023 as there are games that are much longer than this.
5. The game is somewhat of a rip-off of GTA, mostly due to the fact that you are exploring the world of PAW Patrol and you ride on cars.
6. The cutscenes are quite poor, as they have mediocre animation and are mostly just there for padding the length of the game (though there are some exceptions).
7. The soundtrack is incredibly generic, even more than the TV show it's based on or even some other PAW Patrol games.
8. It is again overpriced, costing around $39.99, which is far too much for a kids game, and you can buy better games at a cheaper price.
9. The controls are pretty stiff.
10. The pup switch feature is a ripoff of the Skylanders gimmick where you switch a Skylander figure with another Skylander figure.

Redeeming Qualities

1. While they are mediocre, the graphics are accurate for the show.
2. It's longer than most PAW Patrol games released before this one.
3. At least the characters don't appear an awful lot during gameplay, unlike PAW Patrol: Grand Prix.
4. It can still be fun for little kids.
5. You can actually explore the entire Adventure Bay city, which would probably be the only reason to play this game, but too bad, the game got a mediocre execution.
