Petty Shack is the 59th episode of Taffy
Plot
Mrs. Muchmore and Taffy enter the Charity Golf Tournament to win a vacation to Caviar Hills, but Bentley, keeps messing up the scores by sabotaging the golf ball.
Why It's Petty
- This is a Taffy and Mrs. Muchmore torture episode.
- Mrs. Muchmore stating that she and Bentley score a thousand makes no sense since in golf, only the lowest score wins. Even Mrs. Highcost points out to them that getting a high score means they get it terribly. This leads to people laughing at them.
- Bentley is horribly unlikable in this episode. Because Mrs. Muchmore chooses Taffy as his partner in golf, he sabotages him by making the score higher.
- Mrs. Muchmore's friends are somewhat unlikable because they mock Mrs. Muchmore by calling her "Loser!"
- Plot Hole: Bentley sabotages the golf ball by traveling it into the desert, in real-life players would get disqualified for going to another location while playing sports.
- However, it is Bentley's fault for causing the ball to travel into the desert, not Taffy's nor Mrs. Muchmore's.
- The scene where Mrs. Muchmore and Taffy playing golf in the desert is a filler.
- Bad Ending: Even though Taffy and Mrs. Muchmore win the golfing tournament, they are worried about Caviar Hills being a dangerous place, much to the former's shock. Bentley is finally happy that he is worried about this place by taking a picture.
Redeeming Qualities
- Taffy and Mrs. Muchmore are likable characters in this episode.
- Taffy giving not only Bentley, but also Mrs. Highcost, Mrs. Networth, and Mrs. Allperfect karmas, can givem some taste of their own medicine.
- There is a heartwarming scene where Mrs. Muchmore kisses Bentley on his face in the opening scene.
