Pokémon Eclipse RPG is an online unlicensed RPG game based on Pokémon that was released sometime in 2008. The game is infamous for its micro-transaction practices.

Why It Should Get Demonetized

  1. This RPG is very infamous for its micro-transaction practices in which it locks out various features on a paywall which you can already do for free, in which one of the developers actually admitted to doing. In fact, Nintendo should be suing them for copyright theft.
    • Custom Icons are locked under a $25 paywall, which is very outrageous when other sites allow you to do this for free.
    • Changing your username requires you to spend $10; this is actually copying Xbox's username policy which was already infamous.
    • In fact, they are even charging outrageous amounts of money for filtered/edited Pokémon sprites in which you can actually do for free.
    • They have a lottery system in the game as well, which is clearly gambling.
  2. Hypocrisy: One of the developers made an excuse to why these features are paywalled is that to prevent rulebreakers from putting NSFW imagery/usernames, yet they have a moderation team that can ban people easily, and their site clearly has no swear filter. In fact, this punishes people who want to have a custom icon that is cool looking, who now have to spend $25 to use the feature.
  3. Much like PokéFarm, the game is very boring; all you do is click to interact with Pokémon and buy items. That is all you do in this game to the point you can use an autoclicker to play the game.
    • This game is basically a clone of PokéFarm, in which it tries to improve from PokéFarm but fails to due to the horrible amount of microtransactions and bad moderation.
  4. Again, like the aforementioned PokéFarm, the game has no swear filter, meaning you can put any vulgar name and it will be accepted, despite the game claiming that it's for kids.
  5. The moderation on the site is just awful, as the moderators abuse their power and ban people forever even when they don't deserve it. In fact their appeal system is infamous for them ignoring appeals 24/7.
    • In fact, a admin from the site recently vandalized the page, meaning that they cannot handle criticism.
  6. Not only the site is infamous for asset theft for Pokémon sprites and charging huge amounts of real money for them; they even steal assets from other companies.
    • Infamously, the ban screen uses a GIF from The Fairly OddParents, which is owned by Viacom.[1]
  7. Once again like PokéFarm, this RPG is not worth playing at all considering the poor moderation and micro-transaction practices.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. There are a handful moments in this game than can be seen as really funny and worth a laugh, such as the infamous ban screen, which makes it a ''so bad, it's good" type of .
