Pull My Pigtail is the first episode of Season 1 of Wayside. It aired on March 16, 2007, on Teletoon, and on Nickelodeon on February 14, 2008.

Plot

During Valentine's Day at Wayside School, Dana tries to force Todd and Maurecia to fall in love.

Why It Sucks

1. This is just somewhat an infamous Todd torture episode.
2. This episode is so mean-spirited.
   • Why did Maurecia get angry at Todd in the first place, when he was trying to grab her ponytail?
   • Mrs. Jewels is unlikable in this episode as she scolds Todd for 3 times for pulling Maurecia's ponytail, puts him on the discipline list, and sends him home on the Kindergarten Bus.
3. The title card and the story line don't make any sense at all. That is, when Todd was forced to pull Maurecia's ponytail; even though Leslie is in the show, sits beside Todd, and has pigtails, not Maurecia.
4. Dana and Myron are so stupid in this episode as they force Todd to be in love with Maurecia.
5. This was simply a bad way to start the show in Canada. However in the U.S. it aired on Nickelodeon on February 14, 2008 so this means it is the last episode of Season 1, and the last to air on Nickelodeon before moving to Nicktoons Network.

Redeeming Qualities

1. At least the ending isn't bad when Maurecia stops Todd when he was about to get on the Kindergarten Bus, and told him about the desk, the ponytail, and how Dana was forcing her to fall in love with him.
2. Some decent humor here and there.
