Sheep in The Big City is a 2000 short-lived animated series on Cartoon Network. It was created by Mo Willems.
Plot
Tired of life on the farm, a Sheep decides to move into the big city.
Why It Rocks
- An idea about a Sheep living life in the city is a pretty original idea for a show.
- Great animation made in Rough Draft Studios.
- Funny antagonists are General Specific, Private Public, and The Angry Scientist.
- Sheep is a likable and funny protagonist.
- Well thought of episode plots.
- Creative designs and art style.
- The show's art style is in Mo William's signature art style that he use in his children's' books like his world famous “Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus!”
- Excellent voice acting.
- Cool theme opening and soundtrack.
- Hilarious names for the characters. For example, General Specific and Private Public both have oxymoronic names, and Lisa Rental is a parody of "lease a rental".
Baaa-ad Qualities
- Some unlikable characters like Lady Richington.
- Lisa Rental can be annoying at times.
- "Mistaken Identi-Sheep" is arguably the worst and weakest episode in the series.
- Ben Plotz' (the narrator of the show) complaining can be pretty annoying and irritating.
