"Super Zig" is the fifty-fourth episode from season one of Zig & Sharko. It was written by Olivier Jean-Marie and storyboarded by Jean Cayrol.
Plot
Bernie decides to boost Zig’s morale by making him into a super hero. What a challenge!"
Why It Super
- The concept of Zig being an hero is an interesting concept, and this episode execute this concept decently.
- Zig plans to capture Marina are pretty good as always, especially the final one where he had a pistol that can clone everything, which did almost work.
- The main characters are likable, even Zig and Bernie.
- Good musics as always that fit the episode, such as the music that play when Zig chase Sharko with the pistol, or even the title card music.
- Super Zig design is actually good and look cool.
- The action scene in the near end of the episode is very well done and is some of the best action scene in the whole series.
- Some funny moments of course, such as when Zig try to beat up Sharko but instead do no damages to him and is the one who ended up being beaten up.
- Great animation.
The Only Not So Super Quality
- The ending can count as a torture for Zig, though it is somewhat deserved due to how mean his actions was toward Sharko.
