As long as the entire city of Townsville thinks you're cute and cuddly, every crime you commit there is legal.

Sweet 'N Sour is the second half of the 12th episode in the fifth season of The Powerpuff Girls.
Plot
Three adorable baby animals known as the Fluffy Bunch arrive in Townsville and commit crimes by using their cute looks to get away with them.
Sour Qualities
- The citizens of Townsville are extremely horrible in this episode because they allow the Fluffy Bunch to commit crimes only because they're "cute" and "cuddly" when they were just being dumb enough to not even know they were dangerous criminals. Even the Professor and the Mayor are out of character.
- Everyone hates the Powerpuff Girls in this episode; they went as far to call them "animal abusers" and protest them outside their house due to attacking the Fluffy Bunch.
- To make matters worse, the citizens never realized their mistake nor did they receive any comeuppance for hating the Girls. They didn't even apologize to the Girls; even the narrator in the heart ending felt bad when the villains were defeated!
- It's never explained who keeps calling the girls every time they allow the Fluffy Bunch to rob the banks?
- This episode feels too similar to the episodes, "Save Mojo" and "Cat Man Do", but with the Townsville citizens stopping the girls instead of an activist group & unlike "Cat Man Do", none of the people get possessed as the type of animal.
- How come the other villains didn't destroy Townsville when the girls were forced to stay at home and weren't able to fight crime because of the Fluffy Bunch?
- Better question, why was this commissioned to an episode for the fifth season finale of the show?
- Speaking of which, this episode was an awful way to end Season 5.
- The plot is just the worst yet, and of course, it uses the overused unfunny trope where a character or two does bad things and gets away scot-free with the innocent character getting the scapegoat treatment for doing nothing wrong. Sorry to say, this trope was never funny to begin with, not unless it's executed well if the innocent character wins in the end with the bad character losing, that would have happened. But no, it had to be that.
- The close-up shots of the children at Pokey Oaks Kindergarten are disturbing.
Sweet Quality
- The way the girls defeated the Fluffy Bunch was very smart and creative (by disguising Pokey Oaks Kindergarten as a bank for them to rob) and the comeuppance that the Fluffy Bunch receives from this (the students at Pokey Oaks Kindergarten cuddling and hugging them painfully, much to their discomfort) is very satisfying.
Trivia
- Interestingly, each of the Fluffy Bunch's voice actresses were also the same actresses who voice the Girls (Cathy Cavadini, Tara Strong and Elizabeth Daily).
