Just a bland episode.

Thanksgiving is the 23rd episode of the 2nd season of Teen Titans Go!.
Synopsis
When Raven's father, Trigon, shows up for the Thanksgiving dinner, Robin’s seating plan isn't the only thing that gets ruined.
Bad Qualities
- Bland/Generic Title: The title is just the holiday the episode is centered around, Thanksgiving. That’s very bland and it feels more like a working title than a final title. This title is more appropriate for a preschool show episode, not a show geared towards older audiences like Teen Titans Go!.
- The “decorating for Thanksgiving” scene drags on for too long and could’ve easily been cut from the episode.
- The true main plot is Robin trying to keep the tower clean for Batman, who is supposedly showing up for Thanksgiving dinner.
- Speaking of Batman’s appearance was built up but the payoff was very unsatisfying. Details will be explained below.
- Plot hole: Why does Robin need a kid’s table if the only guests are the Titans, Trigon, and Batman?
- Beast Boy befriends a family of rats, while he had good intentions, it was really bad he let them infest the tower as rats carry many harmful diseases. Robin was right to get angry with Beast Boy.
- Trigon shows up and every second of his screen time is very annoying.
- The entire plot where Beast Boy’s rat friends eat Robin’s entire Thanksgiving dinner is ridiculous.
- It turns into a wild goose chase where Trigon turns Cyborg into a turkey and tries to cook him, thankfully, he was spared.
- Bad/Unsatisfying Ending: Batman shows up offscreen and Trigon turns him into
- a turkey with the intention of eating him. Beast Boy’s rat friends cook up a Thanksgiving dinner like Remy from Ratatouille.
Good Qualities
- The subplot is Beast Boy befriending a family of rats is actually heartwarming because he wanted them to be safe.
- The plot actually had potential, it was handled incorrectly.
- ”Batman likes bats, NOT RATS!!!!”
- What Beast Boy said he’s thankful is very heartwarming.
