The Bad Guy is the first half of episode 5 and the 8th episode of Season 1 of Wander Over Yonder

Plot

After Wander and Sylvia crash land on Doomstone, he disguises himself as a bad guy to get the orbble juice, but his actions go too far.

"Bad Guy" Qualities

  1. This episode somewhat rehashes Bubblevicious from The Powerpuff Girls, but without the charm in it.
  2. Wander as a bad guy does several bad things that he and normal people would not do.:
    • He spat on Badlands Dan's boot.
    • He ripped Dan's fur.
    • He stole Oink's motorbike without her permission.
    • He caused the explosives to explode after he sped her motorbike.
    • He swapped crystals with rocks in exchange for Orbble juice, causing Papa Doom and his gargoyles to get mad at Wander and Sylvia.
      • Granted, Wander was trying to disguise as a bad guy so that he and Sylvia would get the Orbble Juice, but his actions are unjustified.
  3. The characters who appeared in Doomstone and Papa Doom's mansion are unlikable because of Wander's antics.
  4. The opening scene suddenly shows Wander and Sylvia falling into space before crash landing on Doomstone, which is somewhat of a plot hole.
  5. When Wander and Sylvia are cornered by the citizens, he starts acting out causing them to get mad until Sylvia removes his mustache.
  6. Before the citizens attempt to attack Wander, they stop and tell what happened to their behaviors and Sylvia states that they are a bunch of "fakers". This means they basically torment Wander for nothing, although they redeem in the end and give them a large Orbble juice as a gift.
  7. The animatic end credits are boring and cheap to watch. Sure there are some end credits that are cheap and boring, but they are enjoyable or hilarious to watch.

"Good Guy" Qualities

  1. Sylvia's still a likable character in this episode.
    • Wander and the citizens from Doomstone redeem themselves at the end of the episode.
  2. Wild Wooly Wander acting out-of-character is hilarious.
    • Wild Wooly Wander's line: "RAAAWWWWWRRRR!!!"
  3. Good Ending: After confessing about what the citizens have done because they were only there to survive while being bad, Papa Doom gives Wander and Sylvia a large bottle of Orbble Juice and Oink gives them a cream pie. They change the town from Doomstone to Congenial Rock after confessing the truth.
