The Bot is the second half of episode 13 and the 24th episode of Season 2, as well as the 62nd episode overall of Wander Over Yonder
Plot
Lord Dominator finds a planet containing lots of Volcanium X, a source of power that can fuel and repair the ship, as well as gaining powers for her. She calls Bot 13 to find more Volcanium X and sends him out for a journey, but he hits by an asteroid, causing him to hit on a vacation planet and causing his memory to wipe out and hangs out with Wander.
Why It's Goes Beep-Boop (In a Good Way)
- This is basically one of the most emotional episodes in the series.
- The opening scene is good, with Lord Dominator calling her Probes/Bots to find Volcanium X. However the only scene that is bad is where Bot 42 fails to find a planet containing Volcanium X, resulting in kicking him out of her ship and getting disintegrated from the atmosphere.
- During his brainwashed state, Bot 13 becomes likable for the rest of the episode as he hangs out with Wander, even though Sylvia pointed out that that he is one of Dominator's probes that can kill anyone in process.
- A montage of Wander hanging out with Bot 13 (renamed as Beep-Boop) is good.
- There is an emotional scene where Beep-Boop sacrifices when Lord Dominator is mad for losing his memory during Wander's montage.
- The ending is heart-warming, with Wander wishing good luck to Beep-Boop, despite the latter sacrificing himself from Dominator's destructive behavior. Additionally, it also shows half of the picture that he used in the photo booth left floating in space.
- Bot 13/Beep-Boop's line: "I am Beep...-Boop..."
Bad Qualities
- There are a few mean-spirited scenes, in the finding the necklace scene, Bot 13 uses his laser pointer to target the owner because the necklace is hidden on the latter's shoulder, and Lord Dominator punching Bot 13 for losing his memory.
- Granted, Lord Dominator has a reason to get mad at Bot 13 for losing his memory in process because he hanged out with Wander, but is she not sympathetic about his memory loss?
