The Left Leg is the 26th episode of the 1st season of Teen Titans Go!.

Synopsis

Cyborg creates a huge Titan Robot for all five of the Titans, each of whom controls a different body part. Even though Cyborg tells Robin that everybody’s part is as good as the other, Robin gripes about his role as the left leg and makes some improvements to his section of the robot to make sure that the left leg is the most powerful part of all, but he takes it a little too far.

Why It Broke the Left Leg

  1. Robin is very unlikable and selfish for the majority of this episode because he acts like a spoiled brat for the majority of the episode.
  2. The beginning makes you want to punch Robin in the face because when Cyborg shows off the robot that he built for the Titans, they all act excited but Robin acts like a child in a toy store and starts touching everything.
  3. When Cyborg explains which part of the robot the Titans will control, Robin throws a temper tantrum when Cyborg says controls the left leg.
    • While it makes sense for the leader to control the robot’s head but Cyborg has a justified reason to control the head. He built it so he knows how to pilot the robot. However, Robin being a brat makes it worse.
  4. Robin's temper tantrum even ruins the fight because he thinks Cyborg’s placement is bad.
  5. Robin sulking in his room is tiresome.
    • They even continue the “voices in Robin’s head” gag which is never funny but insulting to people who have mental illnesses.
  6. Robin then decides to embrace his placement as the robot’s left leg and the end result is disgusting because there’s a closeup of his buff, veiny left leg.
  7. The Titan Robot eventually becomes pointless because after Love Monsters, using the Titan Robot is retired.
  8. This episode can be considered an Neon Genesis Evangelion rip-off.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. At least Robin stops acting like a spoiled brat 3/4 into the episode.
  2. Although short-lived, the Titan Robot is cool.
  3. Gizmo’s insults are creative and hilarious.
