"The Ojamajo's Fight for Justice!?" is the 42th episode from Ojamajo Doremi.
Plot
Kota Amano challenges the school bully to a fight after he accidently gets Onpu in troubles, Worried for his safety, the Ojamajo come to his aid.
Why It Meet The Battler Red
- The Battler Red is a nice parody of the Super Sentai, as well as a well written character, in fact all of the new characters here are well written.
- In addition, Battler Red had a very nice design that look like actual Super Sentai but in a 2D animated show instead, and it show what a Super Santai show in 2D could have looked like.
- Great animation as usual, but here along with most 30-51 episodes, the episode animation is even better than before, with a ton of nice details and had beautiful lightning compared to previously, even if it still isn't perfect compared to Sharp and the following seasons.
- Each characters are likable as usual and some of them are still at their best, such as Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko and Onpu.
- One of the new characters (well in term of episodes focus) Kota Amano is also a well written character and is quite brave to fight the school bully that are older than him.
- It had hilarously funny moments as usual, such as when Doremi think that she is a true ranger and tell her friends to call her Pink, which make them embarrased and said that she take her role seriously already, which is quite funny to see.
- The main trio characters designs as a ranger is very well done, especially Doremi, and they look like actual rangers, though unfortunately they didn't win over the school bully.
- The fight with Kota and the school bully was entairtaining, even if it doesn't include as much actions like in some other shows of it's time, this is because Ojamajo Doremi is not intended to be a fighting show.
- The scene where Kota meet the Battler Red is heartwarming, and entairtaining as well.
- Good Ending: Both Kota and the school bully does make up for each other and because actual friends, while Doremi and her friends disapear, which was hilarous as well.
Bad Qualities
- The school bully, while he still a well written character, he is still unlikable for most of the episode because he though that Kota use Onpu when she just had taken him to her studio so he could meet the Battler Red, and even caused a fight because of that stupid though.
- In fact, he even cause Onpu to get in troubles by asking if he could get a autograph of her, even worse he does ask that every days, but howewer it was revealed that he did this because of his sister friends that all wanted one.
- Howewer he redeem himself in the end, revealing that he isn't really that bad of a guy, just a bit too violent and also reveal why he does ask an autograph Onpu everytime.
- The director that had Onpu in troubles was way too mean to her and did cause all that troubles for nothing, sure she may be treated as an actual celebrity but he didn't had to do all of this just for this reason.
- In addition, he though that it was Onpu the problem, where it wasn't her but rather the school bully, hell even Kota tried to tell the director but he didn't wanted to listen to him.
Trivia
- Onpu role as a princess would later appear in another episode of the season 3.
