Plot

While Wander is sick, he asks Sylvia to do plenty of favors to help out.

Sickly Qualities

  1. This is a Sylvia torture episode for several reasons, but mostly being forced to do all of Wander's good deeds for countless people (most of which weren't even necessary). While it's clear that the episode's trying to convey the moral of "when you're sick and can't do your usual routine, the best thing you can do is get some rest for the sake of your loved ones", the episode have been a bit less mean-spirited.
    • When Sylvia attempts to make Wander feel better, by finding sticks for fire, pouring water in the rain, and making fire using sticks he suddenly wakes up (and in the latter's case, he sneezes the fire).
  2. Wander is a bit unlikable in this episode as he tells Sylvia to do plenty of favors, especially when she attempts to snooze Lord Hater's alarm clock, ONLY TO GET ATTACKED BY CAPTAIN TIM, several times.
    • He gets up four times on the hammock: in the convenience store in "The Nice Guy" while Sylvia is moping the floor, returning Wander's sock, and attempting to snooze Lord Hater's alarm clock for the third time (albeit with Wander sneezing before Tim attacks her), and entering Lord Dominator's ship without her permission just to get a cactus. These situations cause Sylvia to get frustrated by him.
  3. Numerous gross/disgusting scenes:
    • The face Wander gets sick is disgusting. It gets worse when Wander turns green and makes a grotesque-looking face.
    • The scenes where Sylvia removes Huckleberry Knicklehead's diaper and clears the spoiled milk out from the fridge are disgusting to look at.
    • The animatic shows Wander sneezing in the orbble, which is annoying.
  4. Plot Hole: Wander has been escaping the hammock four times without explanation while Sylvia is working.
    • However, Wander escapes the locks by sneezing, which is evident when he wakes up and gets the snicker-doodle cookie box so that he can give it to Miss Myrtle.
  5. Wasted opportunities:
    • Even though Wander and Sylvia enter Lord Dominator's ship, Dominator herself is nowhere to be seen in this episode.
    • Captain Tim's only role in the episode is to attack Sylvia.
  6. The ending shows Sylvia eating the box of snicker-doodles because Miss Myrtle tells her and Wander to get out of her site, which makes no sense.

Good Qualities

  1. Sylvia and Miss Myrtle are still likable characters in this episode.
  2. Sylvia and Miss Myrtle making a joke about Dominator is decent.
  3. Good Moral: According to Miss Myrtle, it is alright to let other people help them.

Trivia

  • Lord Dominator is not seen in this episode, despite Wander and Sylvia entering her ship.
