The Sims 2 (PSP) is a video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts for PSP in 2005. It was released one year after the original PC version and was released alongside the other console versions.

Keep your Sanity Meter high by fulfilling your wants and fears so that you don't have a nervous breakdown. Take advantage of the capabilities of the PSP to participate in the evolution of Reality Gaming. 

Bad Qualities

1. You can only make one Sim, and you cannot make any babies, something which even the first Sims game allowed you to do.
2. Unlike the other Sims games, you can only play in an adult life state, and your Sims never age.
3. Money can only be earned in three ways:
   • Picking up a lot of trash and selling it to Mambo Loa.
   • Playing mini-games at a certain time.
   • Gossiping secrets and selling them to certain Sims.
4. Build Mode, one of the main gameplay elements in the Sims series, is completely absent from this port, meaning you cannot build new houses.
5. Very long loading times. Loading times also exist during gameplay actions causing delays in game actions.
6. The camera can be very wonky at times.
7. The game's story is a bit short, clocking in at about 10 hours, which is pretty disappointing, considering that the Sims games generally offer hundreds and hundreds of hours of gameplay.

Good Qualities

1. The story and dialogue is great, and there are plenty of clever fourth wall jokes thrown in.
2. The gameplay, while not perfect, offers a different experience from the PC version, allowing the players to explore the neighborhoods of Strangetown freely instead of confining the player to their home.
3. The game does a decent job expanding the lore of the Sims 2.
4. Some of the interactions are pretty interesting.
5. Certain characters from the PC version also make an appearance in this version, like Bella Goth and the Curious family.
6. Good music, which includes Simlish covers of certain real-life songs and remixes of songs from previous Sims titles.
7. The graphics are really good, as they look exactly like the PC version.
