Three Wild and Crazy Monkeys is the 11th episode and the second half of episode 6 of season 2, as well as the 63rd episode overall of Rocket Monkeys

Plot

The Rocket Monkeys encounter their campus student Cornellius J. Simian in order to go crazy with the monkeys.

Why It's Wild and Crazy (In a Bad Way)

  1. This is a Cornellius J. Monkey torture episode, and to make things worse, that is his poor introduction.
  2. The opening starts off with Gus putting earwax and banana peels on his statue, which is disgusting to look at.
  3. Torpedo tag is a dangerous game for the monkeys and they should have gotten injured from that.
  4. The monkeys have a flashback where Cornellius gets humiliated by them for making Gamma Gamma Banana Handshake, with the latter being crazy for eating a single banana.
  5. Plot Hole: Bananas in this episode can make the monkey go crazy when in other episodes they do not, especially in real-life.
  6. The Rocket Monkeys act stupid in this episode, and it happens a lot.
    • The Gamma Gamma Banana Handshake scene.
    • The monkeys streak naked in a few scenes.
    • The Rocket Monkeys scratching their furs on Corny's computer and the laboratory.
  7. While the Black Holeinator is a creative invention, it seems to be dangerous since it means to destroy everyone.
  8. Somewhat Forced Ending: The scene where Corny turns into Cornevil feels rather forced due to the Rocket Monkeys destroying the Black Holeinator and his lab, and as a result, one of the two vending machines shoots a can on his head, defeating him. However, it is still a satisfying ending for creating world destruction.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The subplot, even though it serves no purpose in this episode, is much better than the main plot.
  2. Yay-OK and Dr. Chimpsky are likable characters in this episode.
    • While Cornellius is likable at the start, he turns crazy as a result, and then he becomes a villain.
