You might want to give a custard pie to the official NES game rather than this bootleg.

Tom & Jerry 3 is an unlicensed clone of Tom & Jerry: Frantic Antics released for the Famicom by Dragon Co. around 1998 based on the cartoon shorts of the same name.
Gameplay
In this game, players take turns controlling Tom and Jerry through 5 stages, with a boss being at the end of each one. Between them they possess the same abilities, such as speed, jump height and even the ability to throw projectile weapons.
Why It Don't Deserve A Custard Pie
- The game feel like a rehash of Frantic Antics for the Game Boy, and while that game was decent and pretty fun overall, this bootleg howewer ruin it since the gameplay is so clunky and there's way to many flaws to be considered a worthy clone of that game, to the point of being worse than the Sega Genesis version of said game.
- Terrible controls, as they are very clunky and unresponsive to the point of being even more terrible than the controls of the Felix the Cat bootleg by Dragon Co., which while still not good, it was at least a more passable bootleg than this, though the controls aren't nearly as horrible as the ones in Wait and See (which in turn, was also developped by Dragon Co.).
- Poor graphics that look way worse than many 1988 NES games, since the colors palette is complete garbage to look at, and the sprites themself, while detailled, are very poorly drawn, to the point of being almost like a THQ NES game, for exemples, games like Super Mario Bros. 2, Pac-Man and even Mickey Mania 7 (another bootleg) look better than this, and the formers (excluding Mickey Mania 7) are games from 1988-1993, and this bootleg was released in 1998.
- Really bad level design that is not even designed with the horrible controls, and it doesn't help that the levels are filled with horrible platforming sections, and it doesn't even help a second when there are so many awful enemies placements, this is arguably even worse than the official NES game of Tom and Jerry, which had some awful enemies placements and was horribly hard but at least it was a fairly decent game for it's time, and there's actual fun in that game, compared to this.
- The title screen is terrible, and while the logo isn't terrible, the problem is that the 3 is poorly placed and thus it make the title reading like Tom and 3 Jerry, instead of Tom and Jerry 3.
- The title doesn't make any senses, although it make a bit more senses than Mickey Mania 7, since while there's another Tom and Jerry NES game, there isn't 2 of them and only one official Tom and Jerry game on NES, and bootleg speaking, there isn't any other Tom and Jerry bootleg on it except this one.
- The game over is extremely disturbing for some reasons, the reasons why is because of the music that play in it and the characters faces, while not creepy, doesn't even help and it feel like they will die or something due to them losing.
- Unfair difficulty, the difficulty itself is also completely fake since it is mostly because of the atrocious controls, the awful level design and the awful enemies and platforms placements that are the only things that make this game hard, if the game would had good controls, then it would not being this hard, even if the game would had probably still sucked.
- Terrible boss fights.
- The soundtrack, while not bad and actually decent, it can sound disturbing ane unfitting at times.
- Absolutely horrible hit-detection that is very unresponsive, even for a bootleg, since sometime you might get hit despite having no contact whatsoever, and sometime you might even attack an enemy but it sill not even get hit, this is also probably because of the atrocious animation of the characters and the enemies.
- The cartridge art is quite weird, since instead of Tom appearing in it, it is Sylvester from the Looney Tunes franchise, which is out of place and would make you asking if it's really a Tom and Jerry game or a Looney Tunes game.
- It is way too short, lasting only 30 minutes.
- Horrible ending, as usual with the bootleg games, as it's only a the end screen with your character, and thats it.
The Only Redeeming Quality
- The soundtrack sound really good for a bootleg, such as the first level music that sound sad, yet catchy and pretty decent overall.
Trivia
- The title screen resembles the intro from the Chuck Jones' Tom and Jerry cartoons. With Tom on the Letter O and Jerry on the Letter Y.
