Two Parter is the 17th and 18th episodes of the 3rd season of Teen Titans Go!.

Synopsis

Part 1: The Titans visit the Hall of Justice to use the pool, but then decide to check out the inside that had cool stuff of the Justice League.

Part 2: The Titans must save the members of the Justice League from the clutches of the super villain, Darkseid.

Why This Two Parter Sucks

  1. Abysmal Title: This title is the worst titled episode of the entire series, as unlike the poorly titled episodes where they’re named after a minor detail, the episode is titled after what it is: a two-part special. It comes off as lazy because it feels as if it never left the concept stage in the writer’s room.
  2. The beginning is annoying because Robin can’t stop repeating the word “special”.
  3. Robin gets excited when the Titans’ air conditioner breaks. He shouldn’t get excited for that, because he has to get it repaired.
  4. The Titans should’ve gotten arrested after this, because they commit two serious crimes: breaking and entering, and trespassing. They actually broke into the Hall of Justice, while the Justice League were gone.
  5. The Titans swim in the Hall of Justice’s fountain, and how they’re able to is questionable, because fountain water is often not kept as clean as swimming pool water.
    • Not to mention, the fountain is not as deep as a swimming pool, so swimming in a fountain is impossible.
  6. The joke about Beast Boy urinating in the fountain is disgusting.
  7. Afterwards, the Titans get bored and break into the Hall of Justice, from there, they should’ve gotten arrested.
  8. The “because he’s Batman” joke from Robin is not funny, and given it was repeated 3 TIMES is jarring, and it quickly overstays its welcome.
  9. Then the Titans put on the Justice League’s suits and fight Darkseid.
  10. The jokes about Star Wars, and who can’t beat Darkseid are NOT FUNNY! They also make fun of Spider-Man!
  11. Speaking of Darkseid, he’s voiced by Weird Al Yankovic, AND HE DOESN’T SING ONCE!!
  12. The joke about why Darkseid’s voice is scary is because he has a cold is a stupid concept.
  13. Cyborg flying around the Earth to time-travel like Superman gets tiresome FAST.
  14. Darkseid is defeated too fast, thus wasting his character.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Cyborg is the only sensible character in this entire special, because he tries to keep the Titans from breaking the law, because he fears that it will keep him from joining the Justice League in the future.
  2. The scene where the Titans dress as the Justice League and parody the intro of the 60's Justice League cartoon is very funny.
  3. Good Ending: The Justice League are rescued from Darkseid’s prison.
