Final Nights 4: Fates Entwined is a 2018 fan-game developed and published by JeliLiam. It's the 4th and final installment of the Five Nights at Freddy's fan game series Final Nights. It was released on December 15th, 2018.

Why It Rocks

  1. The game is a massive improvement over the original 3 games and drastically changes the gameplay, where as in those games they follow the similar gameplay from the original FNaF games, this game completely changes that.
  2. The gameplay has drastically changed from the previous games, whereas they followed the standard FNaF gameplay, this game changes it to a more original gameplay, and it's well-executed, as there are two types of gameplay, considering the two stories:
    1. 2017: This was considered the most unique part of the game, and one of the most unique style of gameplay in FNaF fan games. This goes for a point-and-click free roam gameplay, while having other types of gameplay while exploring.
    2. 1973: It follows the traditional FNaF gameplay, but with more unique elements. Instead of using flashlights or doors, you instead have these 3 mechanics
  3. Decent voice acting for Max Donovan.
  4. Great graphics for 2018 and FNaF fan game standards, thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 4. Every place is incredibly detailed, and it was also helped by a realistic yet notable art style that makes the game distinguish from other games that use Unreal Engine.
  5. Excellent and unforgettable soundtrack by Caspar, with each song fitting into each level's tone. The most memorable songs being Reckoning (the game's main menu theme) and Closure (the game's credits).
  6. Great story that
  7. The game makes various comebacks from previous Final Nights games, as well doing a good job connecting the games to this one.
  8. Overall, because of all these elements, the game ended the Final Nights series on a great note.

Bad Qualities

  1. While the optimization of the game is better than previous games, it's still mediocre. The game occasionally lags, and texture pop-in occurs very often, ruining the experience.
  2. The story retconned certain elements from the previous games, most notably Final Nights 1.
    1. Final Nights 1 ends with Mike Schmidt burning Fredbear's Family Diner, as well being killed by Fredbear.
