Why This Port Sucks
- The graphics look terrible for 2023 standards. MLB The Show 23 and other 2023 switch games look miles better than this! Because of that, the facial expressions of the characters oftentimes look creepy and nightmarish to look at, especially with Mileena's attack
Redeeming Qualities
- At least the characters are likable as usual such as Mileena still getting new character development and Bi-Han/Sub-Zero, Shang Tsung, Ermac/Jerrod, and Quan Chi being intimidating as always
- Still great music.
Reception
While the game on other platforms received strong positive reviews by fans and critics, this port of Mortal Kombat 1 was panned and roasted for its godawful graphics.
Nintendo Life gave it a 4/10.
