Criminal Case (frequently abbreviated to "CC") is an adventure, hidden object and puzzle video game developed and published by Pretty Simple. It was first released for Facebook on November 15, 2012; ports for iOS and Android devices followed in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

City of Romance is the title of the eighth and final season of Criminal Case. It was released on June 11, 2020.

City of Romance features the player as they join a foreign police force and investigate crimes and murders occurring across the city of romance: Paris, France.

Why it's City of Disaster

1. Like the previous versions, the game is very long to finish if you don't put money on it, literally the crime scenes cost 20 energy and you only have 110 maximum which gives you a total of only 5 crime scene maximum to investigate.
   • In order to increase your energy you are offered food.
     • The orange juice only brings back 20 energy which is completely useless since 20 energy only allows you to investigate a single crime scene which makes this object not profitable.
     • The packet of crisps only allows you to have 50 energy which is certainly better than orange juice but still not very useful because it only allows you to investigate 2 crime scenes.
     • The hamburger that allows you to have 120 energy is the only somewhat useful item.
   • The worst thing is that the game offers you a pizza allowing you to increase your energy bar from 110 to 170 for 1 week which is not useful since you can easily exceed your energy bar for free
   • Even if the time to have energy has dropped from 3 minutes and 25 seconds to 2 minutes, it is still long because it takes a total of 3 hours and 40 minutes to fill its energy bar completely.
2. The game is a huge pay-to-win that will do anything to extract your money, the majority of analyzes are extremely long and often last 9 or 12 hours or even 15 hours to just finish an analysis requiring you to pay in order to pass this analysis .
3. COVID 19 has globally massacred the game forcing developers to rush the game, there are only 17 cases instead of the 30 announced and worst of all a lot of things have been recycled
   • The character you create is generally the same character as in the previous opus apart from the fact that he has different colors
   • Worse than all some suspects are poorly designed, the most infamous example is Noémie Leprince in case n°14 where we literally see that the design of her outfit is not finished at the bottom right
