Simian Says is the second half the ninth episode of the sixth season of The Powerpuff Girls (1998) from season six.
Summary
Mojo beats up the narrator and takes over the story, so the Powerpuff Girls have to do whatever the narrator, now Mojo, says. How will the girls put their cartoon back in order?
Bad Qualities
- The Powerpuff Girls are completely out of character. As they kicked the professor and the mayor, robbing the jewelry store, the bank and the museum, collect the value to Mojo's lair and fight each other. However it's due to Mojo takes the narrative and forces them to destroy each other.
- The pace is kinda slow and dragged for too long, including the day is saved gag.
- Plot Hole: Since when did Bubbles have fire breath?
Good Qualities
- The concept of Mojo taking over as the narrator is an interesting one, despite the poor execution.
- The girls are naturally likable, despite all the problems they caused.
- Good Ending: The Powerpuff Girls finally beat up Mojo and found the kidnapped narrator, he can finally end the story, the girls are refreshed as they found something missing. And plus, the girls give the narrator a lift home.
