Skibidi Toilet, also known as the Skibidi Toilet Series, is a 2023 web animated horror-comedy-action series by Georgian Source Filmmaker animator DaFuq!?Boom! It features The Alliance, a heroic group consisting of people with heads of devices such as cameras and TVs, against the titular Skibidi Toilets, monsters that are toilets with human heads that sing a remix of "Give It To Me" by Timbaland and "Dom Dom Yes Yes" by Biser King. The series is available on YouTube Shorts, and an official playlist of the episodes is available here.
Good Qualities
- Despite the CGI quality are really outdated due to uses Source Filmmaker, an outdated animation software, the animation is pretty good, especially for something that was produced by one person, as the fight scenes look great, and the character movements are decent.
- The concept, while silly, is charming as it has its moments of being good at horror, such as whenever a Skibidi Toilet moves aggressively towards the camera with a deranged face, which most notably happens in the early episodes.
- Additionally, it constantly introduces new ways to keep itself interesting, especially when both the alliance and the Skibidi Toilets introduce new variants of themselves.
- The character designs have lots of creativity, especially those like the TV Men and the many variants of Skibidi Toilets.
- Multiple funny moments such as the way the Titan TV Man attacks the Skibidi Toilets: he flashes a red screen with the THX theme blaring out, making the latter flush themselves. Flushing a Skibidi Toilet is a way to kill it.
- It has some great tense moments, including the fight scenes involving the Titans, and even the scene in Skibidi Toilet 66 where the alliance goes beserk.
- It's a nice callback to 2000's Source Filmmaker animations, complete with the toilet humor and weird premise.
- The moment when the Titan Speakerman is freed from his infection, and looks on in sadness regretting what he did under the Toilets' control in Skibidi Toilet 57 is an incredibly emotional moment.
