these new changes are (still) pretty dumb

Hi Batboy, I'm asking you to back up this statement from the main talk page, specifically the title plus "you both should learn from your actions". I'm reaching out because believe it or not I am in fact interested in what the concern is. However 'these changes are dumb' is not useful, likewise the second part without context. Only specifics can result in change or an explanation. Indeed this was strange coming from you as your only complaint that I saw was regarding comments and that has already been fully reverted for some time. A key difference in how I do things is that I not only accept staff feedback I expect it, and for it to be constructive because I really rather not make decisions all on my own (I hope to eventually hand off the place to competent, local people) but if nobody reaches out or tries to collaborate, or shows any sort of interest in doing so and just complains in the void or as demonstrated recently resorts to vandalism despite saying they quit, then I do what I can and see what sticks and if there is not useful feedback then it stays. It's certainly not fair to say or imply I do not listen as proven by the exchange on my talk page when people actually reached out. --Raidarr (talk) 22:12, December 9, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well, Robin said on Discord said that ever since you became an administrator, you and CJ have made lots of poor decisions such as, you removing him as an admin, you taking everything way too seriously, demoting Brazilian User, causing a hole lot of unnecessary extensions, and adding the unnecessary new comments section (which you thankfully removed later on). Well, no offense, but a lot of other users are also really starting to hate you as well due to this. Batboy234 (talk) 00:13, December 10, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks for the response I suppose, though there's not much I can do for you but to explain why and suggest you move in with them if you still entirely disagree with the decisions of this administration, which will not be changing based on what I've heard. Robin's rantings are filled with omissions, lies and delusions born of a group of kids who wanted to be powerful in a wiki on the internet and threw a great tantrum when they didn't get their way.
  • Demoting BU: Considering he didn't merit a promotion, hardly did anything one way or another before being demoted and then threw a tantrum after being demoted, this was obviously the right call.
  • Demoting Robin: He never used and had no idea how to use tools beyond what moderator already has, nor was he fit for the responsibility of actually guiding the wiki and setting policy. He barely knew how basic wiki features work. I doubt he could respond to this without ignoring large chunks or twisting the story, not that I care to have a response from him anymore (this is not an invitation for him to reply). If he is afraid of getting demoted for making bad decisions as he so often showed even when he was bureaucrat, something is wrong. Putting him that far was CJ's mistake, born of having the bottom grade of users left after everyone with real skills already left from old QP. I was willing to get him there from mod upward but then he pulled a BU. I don't care what you were before, going vandal means you are a brat who never deserved power. As far as I'm concerned they dug their graves. If I took the scazypak/BU approach and went straight to block upon disagreement or first inconvenience they'd have been gone much earlier.
  • Taking things seriously: I take incompetence and abuse seriously, I don't know what to tell you about that one.
  • Unnecessary extensions: unspecific, can't do anything about that unless there's a clear example.
  • Comments change: Already reversed as you say. I know you read the reasoning in the first place and obviously you don't agree, that's fine. If the current comments fall out of support and that comes back on the wiki, oh well. People don't like change and that wasn't a hill I was going to die on.
If 'a lot of other users' don't like me then oh well, I never wanted to be the most liked user and for that matter I don't want to be effectively in charge, but here we are and since the wiki was verifiably at the brink of being wiped out by Telepedia Staff according to a warning on Meta, anything I've done since then has been borrowed time following the absent management of CJ and mismanagement of Robin. If it dies still then so be it. I've been fairly impressed with SuperStreetKombat, he's dealt with issues promptly. You and Pacman have done fairly well. These are the people I want to see grow and learn to run places like these as I believe you lot are not the type who will turn around and stab the wiki in the back when you don't get your way.
It's your choice of course: if you see no merit in what I'm saying then I guess there is no future here and I would encourage you to resign on principle along with the others. If you wanted to hear something different I apologize. --Raidarr (talk) 01:54, December 10, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You blocked the wrong guy

You blocked ToTheEdge, you have to block Entering a Username. TheMoonandEarth (talk) 17:34, March 24, 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Oh, crap, sorry my bad. Batboy234 (talk) 17:34, March 24, 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

A kitten for you!

Red Kitten 01.jpg

"A kitten is a juvenile cat. After being born, kittens display primary altriciality and are fully dependent on their mothers for survival. They normally do not open their eyes for seven to ten days. After about two weeks, kittens develop quickly and begin to explore the world outside their nest. After a further three to four weeks, they begin to eat solid food and grow baby teeth. Domestic kittens are highly social animals and usually enjoy human companionship."
