Waifu Impact
Despite the logo looking like it, the game has virtually nothing to do with Genshin Impact. And how do you feel that this game is very bad?

Waifu Impact is a third-person shooter developed and published by JanduSoft, and released in 2022 for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4/5.

Why It's Not Impactful

  1. The game's title and logo imply that this is a ripoff of Genshin Impact. In actuality, this is not, this is a ripoff of Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash with a dash of Fortnite in a quality that feels like a bootleg.
  2. Atrocious graphics for an eighth/ninth generation game released in 2022. With how low-quality the 3D models are and the textures, it feels like an early alpha demo for an unfinished game or at best, a fake game you see in a live-action sitcom.
    • This horrible graphic was more acceptable to be released on mobile because it was full of shovelware.
  3. The 3D models for each of the characters look like they're made with Pixiv's VRoid Studio using stock assets and recolors. There isn't much effort put into the characters' design because it's virtually the same character but with different hairstyles.
  4. The gameplay is just a generic third-person shooter, with the only difference being that each character gets their unique water gun. Furthermore, the enemies you fight are often clones of each other.
    • If you want to unlock the characters, you fight the boss, AKA super-waifu, and the only difference is bigger and much stronger, but the enemy patterns are absolutely the same.
  5. Shockingly brain-dead enemy AI, the enemy AI is constantly charging forward to attack you, and sometimes the enemy just stands there to wait to attack you. The lousy enemy AI often causes the game to have a schizophrenic difficulty curve depending on what enemies you fight against from all angles.
  6. You can unlock the characters by collecting the stars or fighting the boss, as mentioned above. However, no matter what character you choose, every character is fundamentally the same as they have the same body but different hairstyles and starting weapons.
  7. The map overall is empty, as it's just a barren island with some floating platforms where you can collect stars to unlock new characters. Aside from that, there's hardly anything new via exploring the island to collect like new weapons, abilities, or even items.
  8. The game has so many bugs and glitches that this game is very unfinished, and yet, it looks like this game is on early access. The greatest example of this is how you can clip through platforms and climb upward through them.
  9. The art gallery is very unimpressive because aside from some artwork, you unlock images that are just the 3D models posing that feel like glorified developer screencaps.
  10. Annoying anime girl sound effects that get on your nerves very fast.
  11. The music is absolutely bad, and yes, the music is very happy-go-lucky that doesn't fit in this game.
  12. THE UI/HUD jumps all over the place and feels, at times, very stock-looking. Given how the HUD clashes with the game's poor graphical fidelity, the HUD and menus must've been lifted from stock assets used in the Unity engine.
  13. The game is short, taking players about an hour to beat.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. The game can be funny due to how atrocious the games are.
