Plot

Tired of chasing around the mansion, Mrs. Muchmore hires an animal whisperer to teach Taffy and Bentley lessons, but they end up torturing them instead.

Why It Does Not Whisper

  1. Taffy and Bentley are at their absolute worst in this episode.
  2. Misleading Plot: The episode's plot focuses on a guest teaching Taffy and Bentley some lessons, but it turns out that he wants to kill them instead in order to cook.
  3. In the opening scene, Forsythe is doing laundry, but Taffy and Bentley interrupt and mess up by chasing. This causes a mess when they use the rack as a slingshot to launch clothes and Forsythe away, resulting in getting attacked by the bear and quitting his job.
  4. This is the Pastry Chef torture episode.
  5. What they did was torture the pastry chef because the latter wanted to kill them by cooking.
  6. The entire episode is mean-spirited, ranging from Forsythe quitting his job as a butler to torturing the pastry chef to death.
  7. It reveals a Yank the Dog's Chain moment where Taffy and Bentley are unaware that the guest is the pastry chef who wants to cook food for Mrs. Muchmore.
  8. Plot Holes:
    • Forsythe quit his job as a butler because of Taffy and Bentley's antics makes no sense when he could have just kicked them out instead.
    • How does Forsythe return to his job as a butler when he quit?
  9. Bad Ending: Taffy and Bentley chase again to destroy Mrs. Muchmore's manor because they attempted to attack the pastry chef, believing that he is the murderous guest.
    • This causes Forsythe's feather duster to get destroyed because of this.
  10. The whole episode is pointless because of the reasons given above.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. Mrs. Muchmore and Forsythe are the only likable characters in this episode.
