Yohjo Simulator
Like Desert Bus, but with a girl where you just walk around a city with no goal.
Protagonist(s): Yagi
Genre(s): Simulation
Platform(s): Microsoft Windows
Release Date: November 17, 2015
Engine: Unreal Engine 4
Developer(s): DEADFACTORY
Publisher(s): Sekai Project

Yohjo Simulator is a simulation game developed by DEADFACTORY and published by Sekai Project, made apparently in Unreal Engine 4, and is only available for Microsoft Windows via Steam.

The game takes place in a city full of buildings similar to a metropolis likely in Japan and you control a little schoolgirl walking there, causing destruction and nothing else, since the game has no goal.

Why It Sucks

  1. Very boring. The game has no goal, and you just walk, walk, walk, and in the end, you get tired of playing.
  2. The game is very similar to Goat Simulator with the protagonist just exploring their surroundings, destroying objects or ramming NPCS (only 2 models were used; a man who wears a gray T-shirt and a man only wearing underpants who is running around streets in a weird pose) but without physics. It also lacks the playability Goat Simulator has with the large number of objects you can interact and mess around with.
  3. The premise of the game feels disturbing and creepy, the character you play is explicitly stated to be minor and has a questionable outfit choice especially in public, and the NPCs are older men, implications which potentially violate Steam guidelines!
    • There was an Easter egg that depicts a dead body of a young schoolgirl, and nearby is an underwear and a male NPC. This got the game pulled temporarily on Steam and the 'Easter egg' is now removed.
  4. The game has more bugs than Goat Simulator, including walking and randomly falling to the ground, game objects flying everywhere, and sometimes the game freezing, which was later corrected in new versions.
  5. Simply bizarre skills. As if all of this were not enough, the girl has the ability to "give halters" on others, which makes her braids turn like a helicopter and fly.
  6. Weird sound effects.
  7. The game has a tiny map, though well done using Unreal Engine 4, but there is almost nothing to explore, just an unfinished street, a lot of water in the pipes and a sewer duct.
  8. The trailer of the game... is simply awful.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. At least the developers didn't try to fool the Steam users. The description already states that there is no goal whatsoever on the game.
