"Zeeky Boogy Doog" is the 4th episode of Battle for Dream Island Again and the 29th episode overall. The episode released on Thursday, November 1, 2012.
Why It's Not Well Read
- To get the elephant out of the room: Golf Ball is very unlikable in this episode, as she constantly bullies her teammates and acts like she has control of her team. Sure, she did act really bossy in BFDI, but she was still a likable character. In this episode, she is the absolute opposite.
- The voting in this episode was revealed to be absolutely rigged. It was revealed that a cousin of Adam Katz (creator of Inanimate Insanity), who posts unrelated My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic content has persuaded her viewers to dislike Teardrop's video, as Coiny was her favorite character and had the most dislikes at the time. With her viewers not knowing what BFDIA is, they simply did so without questioning, leading to Teardrop both winning the prize and getting eliminated, the first and only time in BFDIA so far.
- The “Well Read” joke gets old pretty quickly.
- The screaming sound the recommended characters make when they are crushed by the Eiffel Tower gets annoying fast.
- Match and Pencil are also really annoying and unlikable. They save Firey, but not Tennis Ball, and celebrate when Fries ate Spongy. And when Gelatin was crushed by the HPRC, they literally blame him all because Match got Gelatin’s body parts on her, as well as telling Bubble to stop dying.
- Tennis Ball is very idiotic in this episode, as he does everything the others tell him to do.
- Poor attempts at humor. Ruby thinks Team No Name’s Dream Island should be called "Poopy Mayonnaise", a ridiculous name for an island.
- Bad ending: Team No Name has made an astounding Dream Island that could have been an amazing, if not better, replacement for the original Dream Island. However, Coiny used Bomby to blow it up just to win the challenge, and that ends up making W.O.A.H. Bunch's poorly designed farm island be the prize.
Redeeming Qualites
- The Hand Powered Recovery Center (HPRC) is a really good idea.
- The design for Team No Name’s Dream Island looks astounding.
- Great animation and voice-acting, as usual.
Reception
"Zeeky Boogy Doog" has a rating of 7.0 on IMDb, placing it below average. It is considered one of the worst episodes of BFDIA, some reasons including the rigged voting to eliminate Teardrop and Golf Ball's excessive meddling.
