Accept The Next Proposition You Hear is the 8th episode of the 3rd season of Teen Titans Go!.

Synopsis

Robin refuses to give the Titans any more orders so that they will learn to think for themselves. Instead, the Titans start taking cues from fortune cookies that are revealed to a scheme concocted by Brother Blood.

Why We Shouldn’t Accept It

  1. Firstly, the entire premise feels forced because the Titans suddenly act like they have one brain cell and rely on Robin to “make decisions”. This also contradicts previous episodes because the Titans were shown to be capable of making their own decisions.
  2. The whole bit with Brother Blood getting food poisoning is disgusting. Also, how did he stink up his whole lair if his bathroom obviously had a door?
  3. After defeating Brother Blood, it’s dinner time and everyone has to decide where to eat. This where the plot devolves but not before we get an annoying gag. The gag is where Robin says he won’t be making decisions for the Titans anymore and they begin thinking about what they want for dinner. It gets annoying because they draw out words as they think.
  4. Giving up, the Titans follow Robin to a Chinese restaurant and get carry out. The plot gets stupid after this!
  5. The Titans begin using fortune cookies to “make decisions”. The first “decision” is made by Starfire, “laughing long and often”, her obviously fake laugh is very annoying to listen to. Not to mention, it drags out longer than a modern family guy cutaway.
  6. The montage of the Titans using fortune cookies to guide them through life is very stupid.
  7. Plot hole: How were the Titans able to get so many fortune cookies without getting Chinese food?
  8. Eventually, Brother Blood finds this out and begins making his own fortune cookies to mind control the Titans.
  9. The fight is very stupid because Robin uses fortunes, horoscopes, etc. to manipulate the Titans.
  10. Bad lesson: Do not make your own choices, rely on other people make them for you.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Robin is the only likable character because he tries to encourage the Titans to make their own decisions.
  2. The fortune cookies have creatively written fortunes.
