Autobirds Qualities
- Good graphics for a 2014 standard.
- Outstanding & catchy soundtrack. Matter of fact, it's composed by Vince DiCola, the composer of The Transformers: The Movie.
- When a character is upgrading, they have some funny dances.
- The cutscenes can be quite funny. Such as King pig Megatron uses Chef pig Soundblaster's cassette to bake sandwitch, Foreman pig Lockdown tries to transform but not as robot as the blueprint shows, etc...
- The transition when we open the level reminds us of the actual Transformers transition.
- You can teammate even without connecting with Facebook. Sadly they'll last 5 to 15 seconds. When you complete the level, you can either thank the teammate or reject.
Deceptihogs Qualities
- The story seems incomprehensible.
- The game is surprisingly has a microtransactions, because whenever you're waiting for Deceptihogs/Autobirds repair/upgrade, you must to wait; either by timer or uses the gems/watching the ads to make thing easier. The problem is there's some level has a difficulty spike, then whenever Deceptihogs/Autobirds dying, you must choose either retreat or continue to play by buying the gems or watching the ads or retreat.
- To unlock more character, you must grinding the pigs to unlock. The problem is surprisingly tiring and downright cumbersome at times.
- Some character can be unlock by real money, but it's absolutely pointless to buy and unlock the robots.
- Some level is very difficult to complete due to high amount of enemies.
Reception
Angry Birds Transformers has received generally positive reviews, with a Metacritic score of 70/100 based on 13 reviews.
The Guardian praised that the game appeals to Transformers fans, while also providing more proof that the Angry Birds can fit neatly into new stories and game genres, while the downside there are timers of multiple hours to upgrade a character, however gems to upgrade instantly (slowly earned or purchased with real money) make the upgrade happen instantly.

Trivia
- At SDCC 2014, IDW Publishing and Rovio announced an Angry Birds Transformers crossover comic books series; it was written by John Barber and art by Marcelo Ferreira and published in early 2015 as a four issue mini-series.[1]
- This game is the fourth game in the franchise to be compatible with Angry Birds' Telepods, a toy line that is also used in other Angry Birds games such as: Angry Birds Star Wars II, Angry Birds Go!, and Angry Birds Stella. When using Telepods, it can summon the toy's Transformer, and either boost its power or recharge its armour. It is necessary to scan the toy's QR code each time after the app is closed since the application will "forget" the Telepods the user has previously scanned in.
