Edmond Elephant's Birthday is an episode of Peppa Pig, it is the 51st and penultimate episode of the 3rd season.

Why It Makes Us Cry

  1. George, Richard, Edmond, Zuzu, and Zaza are very unlikeable in this episode as they constantly cry for everything, which gets annoying fast.
    • Peppa is also slighty unlikeable in this episode, she acts like a spoiled brat for not getting invited to the birthday and wants the younger ones to hurry up on all of the games, showing her as impatient.
  2. The episode is also a bit of a torture episode for Peppa and her friends, as they have to suffer through George, Richard, Edmond, Zuzu and Zaza crying all the time.
  3. In addition to George, Richard, Edmond, Zuzu and Zaza being unlikeable, every time when one kid wins a game, the other kids cry over it, showing that they're sore losers.
  4. Peppa and her friends never even scold George, Richard, Edmond, Zuzu and Zaza or give them any sort of consequence or punishment for crying over the games.
  5. Bad Ending: The helpers can eat what is left over, but the parents come to pick them up, meaning they can't have anything to eat.
  6. George attempts to do a rather selfish move by cheating in passing the parcel, where he tries to shake the box while the music is playing, and then he attempts to fight over it with Zaza.
  7. Peppa and her friends are rather unfair when they play the Musical Statues game, as Suzy kicks out Richard for blinking, even though that's not psychically moving.
  8. Bad moral: If you lose at a game, always cry non-stop because of it.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The older kids (aside from Suzy and Peppa) are likable despite being unfair at the Musical Statues Game.
  2. Even though none of the toddlers got any punishment for crying, George was the only one who (kind of) got a little bit of comeuppance, as Peppa takes George's medal that he unfairly got due to him cheating at Pass the Parcel by fighting over the parcel with Zaza.
