Plot

Secret agents Lincoln and Clyde investigate the Louds' suspicious new neighbors.

Why It Didn't Bond

  1. Misleading Title: The title of this episode makes us think this episode is about The Loud Family bonging with each other, but it isn't. In fact there isn't even one scene that shows their bond growing strong.
  2. Lincoln is very unlikable in this episode as his paranoia has gone way too far, similar to "Stall Monitor" from season 4. When the Miller family move into Royal Woods, he instantly thought they were evil spies. He even went so far as to break into their house, which is an invasion of privacy.
  3. Lola, while likable was mean-spirited by ratting out her brother to not only her family, but the Millers too. Though this can be entirely justifiable as Lincoln thinks that the Millers are spies.
  4. While this episode didn't steal any elements from the previous season, it does steal the plot from both The 'Burbs and The Angry Birds Movie, but the only difference is that instead of being killers or robots, the Miller family are spies, which will be explained later.
  5. Plot Hole: The total cherry annihilation was set to 20 seconds, but it took Lincoln more than 20 seconds to stop the annihilation, so in reality, by the time Lincoln would almost get done stopping the machine, it would already be too late.
  6. Nonsensical Moment: Right when the Louds ere about to leave the Miller's home, Lincoln's walkie-talkie accidentally hit a button, and it reveals a room with a spy computer, and it reveals that the Miller family were evil spies who are trying to get rid of all of the cherries in town, so therefore...Lincoln was right all along.
  7. Bad Ending and sequel baiting: As another family move into the neighborhood, the family were about to go and meet them, but Rita stops them and lets Lincoln and Clyde check it out and see if it was safe for them to visit them. The Miller family has never appeared again after this episode (though, ironically David Steele has continued to make more appearances in this show as a recurring series in the show similar to Ace Savvy), and it can make the characters completely pointless.
  8. This is the first episode where the whole Loud family appears without Lori (since she is at college as of the season 5 premiere "Schooled!"), and it continues in future episodes, which is pretty bad and makes for a handful of missed opportunities.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Lincoln's family are likable.
  2. Hilarious moments such as Rita using a spray bottle to spray at her family saying "Back, family, back!"
