Little Octi Lost is the 8th episode of The Powerpuff Girls reboot. In this episode, Buttercup is sick of Bubbles playing with Octi, so she hides him from her so Bubbles can't play with him.

Why It's Lost

  1. Bubbles is unlikable in this episode as her obsession with Octi is taken way too far, as she treats her beloved plush doll as sentient and even cries when he goes missing. She even blames Buttercup for "stealing" Octi.
  2. The episode gets a bit mean-spirited later on, as Bubbles gets mad at Buttercup for taking Octi and says she'll never forgive her for what she did.
  3. Continuity Error: During the kickball championship, Blossom is seen using her pink transformation power as a broom, despite airing before Power-Up Puff, the episode that takes place afterwards.
  4. Lazy Animation: Besides the slow animation; when Buttercup is trapped inside the machine, it starts to explode in an editing effect.
  5. While the ending is okay, Buttercup destroyed Blossom's trophy, which ends in a cliffhanger.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Buttercup is tolerable in this episode, her frustration about Octi is also justified. She also starts to like Octi later on when trying to hide him. She even starts to take him out to a fair, which is kinda wholesome.
  2. The background art is good, even the art of each kickball team is nice to look at.
  3. The ending was okay as both Buttercup and Bubbles reconcile.
