"Ramatou" is the 4th episode from the season 4 of Titeuf.

Plot

Ramatou looks at Titeuf in a different way, and goes so far as to compliment him on his locks; his friends are convinced that she has a crush on him; Titeuf denies this vehemently, but soon he notices that Ramatou occupies all his thoughts.

Why It Rocks

  1. It is one of the few episodes of season 4 that is actually good, and isn't mean-spirited at all, which is great and makes it one of the best episodes of not only this season but also from the series, along with Karateteuf.
  2. Most characters are likable, especially Titeuf and Ramatou, which form an excellent couple unlike the Titeuf/Nadia couple that is horrible in this season.
    • What even better is that Titeuf also likes Ramatou, and while it wasn't entirely comfirmed in this episode, it was comfirmed that he prefers Ramatou in "The Penis Polygame" (which was howewer a mediocre episode).
  3. This is one of the few episode of the season 4 that had a great writting and not being mean-spirited or even it doesn't include any gross moments, which is great and make it more watchable than most episodes of the season.
  4. The scenes of Titeuf and Ramatou hanging out together is very nice to watch and feel much better than most episodes of the season, especially that here those two are at their best.
  5. The animation is better than usual, being even more colorful in a good way and the animation is less stiff, it also helps the fact that the environnements are very well designed.
  6. Lot of funny moments such as when Titeuf got his face red, although it mostly had more romantic moments than funny ones here.
    • Other funny moments could include the scenes when Ramatou shoot at François or Titeuf himself, which is somewhat mean-spirited but funny.
  7. Titeuf's way to make his declaration and putting it in Ramatou bag was unique and despite not being so romantic, it still was a decent idea.

Bad Qualities

  1. This episode had some continuity errors, since it make us feel like that Ramatou just came out in this episode but in the very first episode of the season, she was already there.
  2. Titeuf friends are a bit unlikable because they make fun of Titeuf being complimented on his locks, which rightfully make him annoyed.
  3. Once again, the title card isn't that great.
  4. Bad Ending: For this episode only, it was revealed that Ramatou prefer to be a friend rather than being in couple with Titeuf, although she might probably not being ready enough.
