Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue is the second title in the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Microsoft Windows and Game Boy Advance developed by Krome Studios and published by Electronic Arts in 2004.

An HD remake of the game was developed and published by Krome Studios on Steam Early Access before receiving a full release on December 13, 2017.

Why it Rocks

  1. The game offers an open world gameplay, unlike the hub-themed platforming gameplay than its predecessor.
  2. An all-new mission-based gameplay.
  3. Many optional missions and sidequests.
  4. Tons of secrets and collectibles.
  5. Equip Boomerangs as the main weapon, which can now be upgraded, for a price.
  6. Many boomerangs from the first game return, as well as new ones.
  7. Detailed and superior graphics then the first game.
  8. Smooth controls on both land and underwater.
  9. Balanced difficulty.
  10. Many gameplay styles, such as driving, kart-racing, pilotable flying ships, and robots etc.
  11. The HD remake makes the models and the environments look smoother while supporting widescreen format and being compatible with almost every controller.

The Only Bad Quality

  1. Optimization for the HD remake is bad on some PCs, especially those with AMD Graphics Cards with some reporting framerate drops. Thankfully, Krome Studios is working on fixing the issue.
