This episode feels like the writers watched the Family Guy episode, Seahorse Seashell Party and wanted to make Brian’s drug trip an entire episode.

Crazy Day is the 28th episode of the 2nd season of Teen Titans Go!.
Synopsis
When the Titans are enjoying their Crazy Day, Raven must fight with herself, by not becoming crazy as well, but her nightmares start getting worse when she confronts the Titans' dreams.
Why It’s Having a Rough Day
- Firstly, the episode’s plot is incredibly hard to follow because it has the constant “Is it a dream or is it not?” plot because the episode keeps going back and forth to Raven’s fantasy world and real life. So, it’s hard for viewers to distinguish what is real and what’s not in the episode.
- The episode can at least be considered as a parody of Alice in Wonderland because of its otherworldly vibes and psychedelic nature. Which is already overdone because Alice in Wonderland has been parodied to death by media for many decades.
- Starfire even talks like the Madhatter at some point.
- Secondly, this is a Raven torture episode because the main premise is about Raven ill and trying to rest.
- The Titans celebrating “Crazy Day” is stupid as it’s just them being idiots for 24 hours.
- When Raven tries to go to sleep, there are many visuals that look akin to an acid trip. They are on par with Brian’s hallucinations in the Family Guy episode, Seahorse Seashell Party. However, the visuals are not as terrifying.
- Raven then becomes possessed and it’s hard to tell if it’s another “dream” or it’s actually happening. She just acts weird while possessed.
- Robin’s “crazy training” montage can be cut out entirely as it just consists of Robin doing inane activities like making silly faces and riding a giant glass of milk with a silly straw like it’s a bull.
- Plot hole: If Raven really wanted to sleep, why couldn’t she just use her magic to transport herself to a quiet place or soundproof her room?
- Cyborg and Beast Boy being stupid chess pieces is just annoying.
- Dumb Plot Twist: Trigon was behind the whole thing and just used these visions to make Raven go insane so she can unleash her inner demon.
- Stupid/Weird Ending: Raven puts the Titans in Trigon’s head. It then cuts to Raven laying in bed saying “Crazy Day” then a jumpscare with a distorted picture of Raven appears on the screen followed by a creepy distorted voice saying “I’m Not Crazy!”. Which is out of place because it’s more appropriate for a bad Creepypasta video than an ending to a cartoon episode.
Redeeming Qualities
- Although the episode is clearly a parody of Alice in Wonderland, the episode stays far away from the source material so it feels like something completely different.
- The “cereal and milk with forks” joke is admittedly funny.
- This episode could’ve worked better as an April Fool’s Day special than the show’s official April Fools Day episode.
