"Dadlantis" is the twenty episode in season ten of The Fairly OddParents.

Plot

Timmy and Chloe become eco-warriors when they save the underwater city of Atlantis from a dangerous "sea-monster"

Why It's Not Aquatic

  1. Just like most of the episode plots of season 10, the plot is pointless and nonsensical.
    • The plot overall is a rehash of Something's Fishy as both episodes are about Timmy going into an underwater adventure.
  2. There is an unnecessary gross close-up scene of Gary.
  3. Cosmo short circuits his and Wanda's wands, rendering them useless for the rest of the episode.
  4. Crocker is shoehorned in this episode mainly for unfunny jokes about things falling in his head.
  5. Mr. Turner is extremely unlikable as he keeps crying when Mrs. Turner takes away his bongo and is the cause of the ocean being polluted.
    • Mr. Turner's bongo beats will most likely get on your nerves fast.
  6. King Neputia, a character introduced in this episode, his design can be quite misleading. For example, his design looks like Jorgan Von Strangle, which can make him look way too much like Jorgen. In fact, this can be a sign of reused assists and/or the animators were too lazy to animate a design for King Neputia.

Aquatic Qualities

  1. Good voice acting as usual.
  2. Mrs. Turner, Timmy and Chloe are likable.
  3. A pretty creative Mario reference, as Timmy is shown playing a game with a dog who wears overalls that resembles Mario's, and the dog is plunging toilets. In fact, it's a reference that Mario is a plumber (though it's rarely shown in the Nintendo games).
