Halt & Catch Silico is the 30th episode of The Powerpuff Girls reboot.

Summary

In this episode, the girls find some clues on who made fake news about them. They face Silico, who has a reason why he's doing this to them...

Why It's Better Than Viral Spiral

  1. The title card looks very cool and has something to do with the episode, as it has the episode title with a bunch of zeroes and ones, as if they were coding numbers.
  2. The girls do some crime-fighting here by attacking Mojo Jojo and stopping his plan to cook kittens, along with attacking Silico's robots and himself. And also, Blossom removes all the false articles about her posted by Silico by using some pins - therefore causing Silico's fort to fall and the robots to disappear.
  3. The girls are still likable characters for stopping Mojo Jojo's plan to cook kittens and for finding clues on who posted all the negative and false articles about them, along with going to Silico Industries as Silico was the cause of posting all those false articles, and then start attacking him and his robots.
  4. Speaking of which, Silico's robot designs look pretty good, especially the giant red robot.
  5. Silico's backstory is very emotional (at least at the start), as it has him being a lonely child (or home alone), then he builds a tiny robot who says "I love you, Silico". Recapping back from "Princess Buttercup", when the girls destroy the monster, the monster accidentally smashes Silico's tiny robot, though at least he's aware of him being messed up.
  6. Great Plot Twist: It turns out that Mojo Jojo was cooking food for kittens rather than cooking the kittens to make them big and strong for his deadly kitten army.
  7. Good Ending: As mentioned above, Mojo Jojo was cooking food for kittens rather than cooking the kittens to debut his deadly kitten army, but when he orders them to attack, they just ignore him and it ends with the girls fighting him, once again.

Bad Qualities

  1. The protesters at the start were unlikable for getting angry at the girls and believing the false Internet articles of them sent by Silico Industries. Though however, this scene was to made a reference how the reboot is hated by the fans.
  2. The kittens on Mojo Jojo's cooking kittens advertisement are stock images of the said pet rather than animated, which is pretty lazy.
  3. Although Silico's backstory seemed emotional at first, he only got back at the girls just because the monster accidentally destroyed his toy robot, which is very petty and unjustified.
