Request for Comment/Ban ChessGuy66 from the wiki

Hello, I'm CJ. Today, I just want to make an RfC asking if we should ban ChessGuy66. The main reason I don't want to block him directly is because I want to hear your opinions on it, and if you agree or disagree with this. So, as the title suggests, this is an RfC voting if ChessGuy66 should be banned from New Qualitipedia. Reasons include:

• Constantly arguing with users for their changes, such as with CheeseGuy17 and me for several things (such as me deleting his NBA 2K24 page for saying that the Metacritic and Steam users should be blacklisted and are quote "toxic pieces of trash babies who are such big toxic crybabies", and removing pointers made by CheeseGuy17 on the Race with Ryan page).
• Constantly begging me of promoting him as an admin because he made 1650 edits. While it's partially my fault since I implemented a rule of editing requirement, since I didn't realize it would make it too easy for everyone to be an admin, after I removed that rule, he still begs me for that, even though he proved that he doesn't have enough skills. He even asks others for being promoted as an admin (like Original Authority, who doesn't even contribute here).
• Bad grammar in his pages, especially his first pages. Later pages do have better grammar, but is still mediocre, due to awful punctuation.
• As mentioned above, he always involves others in discussions between him and other users, most notably Robin when ChessGuy and I have an argument.
• He's supposed to be 13, but acts like a 7 year old, due to his immaturity.

So, in conclusion, he's an user who just thinks he automatically deserves to be an admin even though he proved multiple times that he doesn't have the skills, and plus constantly arguing with users for trivial things. So what are your thoughts?

2. Conditional  Support Even though I'm currently on a break from the wiki, it doesn't change the fact that I can't vote. Wouldn't it be better to block it for, I don't know, a week? I think it's a bit excessive to ban him, he hasn't vandalized or harassed anyone and he was generally contributing positively, basically he's only banned because he irritates one admin. However, I think it would be more fair for a weekly block.

   Yes but i gotta give credit, atleast he did helped me on some pages and he really tries hard, he made lots of edit despite some of them being poor, also he's one of the few users that is constantly online on this wiki, outside of me. Robin (talk) 15:15, October 4, 2023 (UTC)

# Oppose Even though I'm currently on a break from the wiki, it doesn't change the fact that I can't vote. Wouldn't it be better to block it for, I don't know, a week? 2.  Oppose Here're my responds. We didn't meet so much times, but i image it would be a hard shot to the entirely wiki like how it's happening to Szczypak64. I don't think these people would be perfect or will be ever that, yet one thing i know is everybody can still improve themselves, since we all started weak but then went far. So, i agree if this guy was mean to you in your comparisons, just, could you give him one more chance to express his best skills so he can try to face the past to improve himself? User:Brazer (talk)

1.  Abstain I don't find ChessGuy66's behavior to be bad enough for a community ban; in this case, a simple block (one has already been applied) should be enough. Tali64³ (talk) 21:34, October 5, 2023 (UTC)
