Hello. I saw you're making several pages of old great movies. That's alright but I have a question: Are these copy pasted from Greatest Movies Wiki or you made them from scratch? If you copy pasted them from said wiki, I suggest you to put a note that it's copy pasted. Thanks for reading. CJWorldGame32125 (talk) 12:19, February 9, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • Actually, most of the pages were recreated from scratch (it's exhausting), with only a couple of pages actually being from the original Qualitipedia. Though I did look at the sources for the pages and made comparisons. I promise the work is my own. Besides, I created a lot of those pages from the previous site. You can't steal from yourself now can you?

Actually, you can. When you submit content to Miraheze, as defined in their content policy, you give them the rights to distribute the content submitted as they see fit. This effectively, from a copyright standpoint, means that Miraheze owns that content, not the user. This means that technically, you’re not “stealing from yourself” your taking content owned by Miraheze and redistributing it without proper attribution, which is a violation of the Creative Commons license — also, you can self plagiarise, so even if you’re reusing work made yourself previously on another platform, it needs to be attributed to the platform it was taken from. —Original Authority (talk) 03:26, February 10, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Content Policy standards

Apparently there are a bunch of guidelines and rules which are against Telepedia's Content Policy... except, I don't actually know what the content policy even is. I've looked in various areas for Telepedia and I can't seem to find it. Can someone provide me with a link?

The Content Policy, which you explicitly agreed to when you signed up under our Terms of Service, along with other documentation can be found on Meta. The CP specifically can be found here. --Original Authority (talk) 15:38, April 1, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Should Super Mario 3D All-Stars be added onto this wiki and can you remove it from the forbidden games?

Even if its a divisive game, it needs to be added here, and we could separate it into good and bad media "Super Mario 3D All-Stars (good media)" and "Super Mario 3D All-Stars (bad media)? Look at the Illumination page. I really want it to have a page. NewMarioBobFan (talk) 03:24, May 21, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Appears to be a glitch

For some strange reason, the RecentChanges page isn't working properly, the tabbers that allow you to look in-between changes to a page aren't opening, and the tools above that page listing are taking a very long time to load. SpaceProtagonist (talk) 13:26, June 11, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

About the Template

Good evening, morning or whatever day you have, this is the admin of this wiki Robin, i am sorry about the deletion of your template, i had to, turns out the user that wanted it deleted is actually the admin of an other wiki (in which i dont know the name) SuperStreetKombat, he told me (and CJ) to remove the template. Robin (talk) 21:00, October 27, 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • Well, it seems like SSK stated he wouldn't be very active on this wiki (was he one of the responsible admins on the wiki?) But I suppose I could look into creating some additional pages on here -- which I intended to do in the first place. No point in trying to protest. At least he can't get to my music category pages. I feel like music and song pages aren't allowed on here yet, so until I know it's okay, I'm keeping the pages limited to sandboxes, and they won't be published any time soon. But I can inform you that I can't be very active on this wiki, because on weekdays (and select weekends) I tend to be on campus for college, and the building's Wi-Fi blocks access to this wiki on my computer and most of my devices. ...However I found a way against this, by turning the Wi-Fi off on my phone (with its cellular data) and occasionally making minor edits.

All this to say... I'll drop this for now, and if SuperStreetKombat thinks I'm trying to harm the wiki with my ideas, very well. By I know that I have no such intentions, and I'm not going to give him a reason to think I do.

    • Good news, the college campus's Wi-Fi isn't blocking the wiki anymore, so now I can edit on my laptop, and maybe I'll be able to become a more prominent user. No promises, though.
